Peace Hotel is hands down your best choice when staying in Mogadishu. Close to the airport, stellar security, great food, friendly and kind staff. Feels like home. Fast wifi, lots of places to have meetings and get work done, and delicious cappuccinos. Highly recommend! They also offer airport pickup for a charge I believe, just ask when booking.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Just ask for it and it will be made available. It is highly secured campus (very essential) but everything else is available that you may need. Rooms are decent and clean (though without any view). Food is served on a rotational basis and could be monotonous for long stay. They even organize bar-be-cue to entertain the guests (almost weekly) which is very good. A well managed place. Only thing to remember that this is not a disabled friendly space due to infrastructural challenges.

The hotel has a very good environment, the staff and professional and very peaceful. Very close to the airport and very secure. The airport pick up was very efficient and picked me inside. Very good view of the ocean beach from the roof top. The receptionist called Fatima was very helpful in organizing our events. Their meals are also very well prepared and the gymn is always accessible. I had doubts but after my stay I was very impressed. I had a good time and would recommend it to others.

The hotel had excellent food and service (thank you to Hussein, Mohamud, Omar and Abdulrahman). The rooms were very clean and the security service was very professional and attentive. Would recommend Peace Hotel to anyone visiting Mogadishu.

Here, security is paramount, and this is the hotel's strongest point. The owner knows how to manage this, both inside the hotel and for movements in town. The guards are reliable and well trained, the hotel is well protected and there are armored vehicles available for the guests -- at a very high cost, though.
Apart from that, the facility is fine: not great, not terrible. Slow internet connection, food is ok, the expresso is decent and some rooms are better, some are wore. But do not deceive yourself: you are paying for your personal protection, that's it.

Peace Hotel exceeded any and all possible expectations. I had a clear plan for arrival, a smiling host when I came through the gate, and a comfortable drive to the compound (2 minutes). The compound itself has a courtyard with neatly trimmed trees surrounding it making for an inviting communal space. The room was large and clean. The amazing part was the food/bev service. Anytime fruit/coffee (espresso!) water. The food was always balanced with vegetables (and not the oil soaked type I expected.)

The staff were always welcoming and happy to help with any request (e.g. camel milk). Top balcony has view over the airport and ocean.

They take security very seriously and were able to take me out for a tour - the city is incredible especially the shop front art work.

I ended up staying an extra day and was really sad to leave.

Not much to say other than it's worth every penny. So safe, amazing staff, decent wifi, great food, armed guards ready to take you anywhere you need, I literally wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Mogadishu!

The Peace Hotel was a great place to stay during my visit to Mogadishu. Benjamin Mwane was a superb facilitator whose attentive communication over email helped me feel at home before I even arrived. Bashiir Yosuf was a gracious host who ensured total service and security at all times. The food was top notch for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the rooftop view is not to be missed. If you are visiting Mogadishu, I highly recommend the Peace Hotel.

This is the best hotel you can find in probably the whole of Mogadishu! Best in terms of proximity to airport,
Meal accommodation of your choice( if you notify them in advance), top view. The Indian Ocean and the airport. And by any chance of you need an export to go out of the hotel they are good in providing such service. I have to tell you tho given the fact Somalia is not such a popular place for vacation getaway ( at least not now) you need to make sure you are covers in terms of money.... It is expensive in Somalia!

I stayed in Peace Hotel which is very close to the airport. I can assure you it is very safe and secured. No way one can enter without a prior notification of the guests. During my three day stay (06th-08th Aug), I was given quite a big room (Rm 501), unfortunately which has only a bed and a cupboard. It has no TV, no table and no chair. Even the WC of toilet has a leaking hand faucet. This disappointed me but i have very little choice. If one is paying USD 150 per night, he deserve to expect bare minimum infrastructure to write and read (study table and chair) and get connected to news before you go to sleep (TV with cable). Internet was extremely slow. Otherwise dinner was good with a wide range of choice. If you have to leave early, inform the hotel a day prior as it is likely that breakfast may not be ready till 7:30 AM. Staff are very cordial and hospitable.Billing and check-out were prompt.
