Hi Travelers, Tropicana is an average hotel. Its under renovation they say but seems like owner is out of cash or has lost interest. Location is very good and staff is very helpful especially stanley and david. It is overpriced as per facilities. If you r looking a place just to dwell in, it is ok. Do not ezpect much....

I love coming to Malabo, and I stay at the Tropicana when I do. The rooms are basic, but they are impeccably clean and have what you need. The Hilton is obviously gorgeous with its pool and flashy interior, but I can't help but find it impersonal, the food disappointing, and everything is just terribly over priced. It's also way...

Reception is a bit hectic, no elevators.. so if your carrying a lot of luggage just hope you get a room on the first floor :-) The rooms and furniture is degraded but they try to keep them clean. The air conditioners are at best a bit iffy and praise yourself lucky if you have the remote for it. In...
