We have to take into our consideration that is Equatorial Guinea. I stay there for a business trip for few hours. The reservation was done thru my agent so didn't take a lot of time. Staff were warm and friendly. Rooms are clean but not satisfied enough. Anyway if u'r on a holiday, I highly suggest to stay in a... More

The building is dated, service is terrible and the state of the rooms is pitiful. The hotel is located in a posh and quite neighbourhood but you wouldn't have a nice experience, so look elsewhere. The food is okay though so at least you'd enjoy that. The internet, however, only works intermittently.

From the outside Malabo seems to offer either really high end hotels or really divey hotels with not much in between. Bahia II seems to be one of the only middle ground offerings. The rooms were not the most amazing and could use updating, but were clean. My AC did not work in the room I was given and they... More

Check in was fast because was already pre-booked. Receptionists were cheerful. Arrived late as kitchen was about to close, so limited choice to eat. Wi-Fi did not work anywhere in the hotel. AC in room was dripping inside the room.

Not a great Hotel, but well located. Rooms never get serviced daily and general cleaning/maintenance is distinctly lacking. The alleyways have a faint smell of sweage Would I stay again out of personal choice? No Thanks.

Finding a hotel in this oil rich country is not so difficult as long as you bring a bag of money. The Bahia 2 is a middle class hotel and the decor is getting a bit dated. The night club opposite of the hotel is a bit disturbing, but not too bad. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.... More
