The restaurant is opposite the main gate of the Colo-I-Suva Forest and is a lovely finale of a day in the rainforest. The food was amazing, especially the Kokoda (fish in coconut), Rou-rou (dalo leaves in coconut with a similar taste to creamy spinach), the fried dalo

Trust me, if you are staying in Suva, you MUST stay at the Colo-I-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort!!! We stayed there for six nights and were very well cared for. We stayed in the budget dorm rooms so we had a full bed and a twin bunk bed in a small room. There was a small fridge in

We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s close to the entrance of the rainforest park and about 20 mins to Suva centre. The room had a nice view over the lake, but the room was damp and smelt, The bedding felt dirty and had a musty smell. The restaurant was nice but very pricey

The staff were amazing here, I would give them 5 stars absolutely. We stayed in a budget room and it was getting a bit tired. The room was pretty small and very stuffy without opening the door, which would then swamp the room with mosquitos. Food was tasty, but a bit expensive

Thank you for your feedback – we are happy you appreciated our wonderful staff. Your accommodation was in a budget room – and that is exactly what they are and priced accordingly. Mosquitoes – rooms have vape machines (mosquito repellent) and as we are situated in a rainforest and overlooking a pond, I am afraid one must expect mosquitoes, especially because we are an Eco Resort, we avoid chemicals as much as possible. Our food prices are commensurate with other hotels, they are not priced for a ‘captive audience’ – given the majority of our guests actually drive up from Suva and other areas to enjoy our restaurant. We invite you next time to book a Water View Bure, they overlook the lake and have a lot more space .

Gorgeous bure overlooking the lake. Really good food, great staff including security staff. The bird sounds are really special. Quite a jem of a place. Room could be maintained better though. And its quite damp, but is nestled in native bush so i dont know what can be done

Thank you for your review, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us, we do believe our resort is quite special and yet convenient to the city. Unfortunately dampness is a huge problem for us here in the rainforest, there is no easy solution.

One of the queens is air conditioned with private patio. We preferred the queen will loft bedroom. Although it only had a fan it was much cuter and roomier and cheaper. Both had private bathroom. Be sure to hike rainforest park across the street

Hi, thank you for your questions, Taxi's are relatively cheap in Fiji, a taxi from our Resort to Suva is approx FJD$18 to $20 - make sure you have the taxi put in his meter on, Buses are very cheap, we have a bus stop directly outside the door of the Resort, week days & Saturdays they travel every 20 min between 6:30am to 6:00pm then every 40 min or so until about 9:30pm ( Sundays they travel at about 40min intervals) , Bus fares are FJD $1.15 and the express bus is FJD$2.00 per person - the bus ride to Suva is about 20-25min if you need any more information please contact us - we'd be happy to help

Dear Traveler, Unfortunately, unless its a service animal (guide dog etc), health and Liquor licensing regulations forbid pets to be allowed in our accommodation, food and guest traffic areas in our Resort.

Thank you for your enquiry. We are actually a separate entity to the Forest Park but in my personal opinion I think it might be difficult for your husband as once you reach the carpark in the forest there are a number of steps to go down to reach the waterfalls. I recommend you google Colo-i-Suva Forest Park where you can view pictures before making your decision. If you plan to visit our resort – and we would be delighted to welcome you her – there is easy access to the restaurant over-looking the lake, the paths surrounding the resort are gravel – we do get many visitors with walking frames and/or wheelchairs. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance,
