I stayed at this resort for 4D3N and it was such a perfect getaway. The room were clean and spacious and the family that owns the resort were absolutely amazing. They made me feel like I'm home. If you're looking to getaway from all the hotel frills this is the place to be. There is no electricity from 6am till... More

A fabulous place to stay for peaceful relaxation. It's a very small scale family run resort with spacious rooms right next to the beach. The rooms are clean and lovely, if a little dark with the storm shutters left in place. Beds are OK, but could do with better mattresses and the correct size bottom sheet would be more comfortable.... More

This place would have been better when the weather was fine as there is no electricity on during the day so the rooms were dark and hard to even read a book in. The wifi only worked around their office/ restaurant. It would be fine if you were a couple looking to disconnect from everything.

I stayed 3 nights at Namuka in a villa and loved it. The Villas are very clean and spacious. And the beach views are stunning! The food was great, some people commented that the food was expensive but it's really not compared to other places and the serving size of the main meals are probably large enough to share between... I stayed here with my sister for a total of 6 nights in the Beachfront Villa, out of 10 nights in total in Fiji. We took the bus to Cuvu (which has some cheap supermarkets and an ANZ ATM) for about $5FJ each. The taxi to Namuka was $15, along a very dusty dirt road that takes you to the... More

I stayed in this resort for 5 nights, and the staff around there was really friendly and took well care of you. A gold star to the kitchen staff who did an effort for my vegetarian meals. Bring a good book, snorkel gear and have some lazy days on the beach. Thank you Namuka for this great time. Se you... More

Apart from the beautiful empty beach - we loved the relaxed remoteness of the location, our outdoor shower, and not having electricity daytime. There was quite a bit of coral off the beach, and little fishies to make snorkeling interesting too, very shallow though. Also the staff were lovely. Don't come here if you crave international resort service and anonymity,... More

Thank you for your comments , actually namuka bay lagoon resort is fashioned with eco toursim and organic in nature. The remoteness of the resort lagoon and its forests in teh background provide a seclussion which discourages mass tourism. Crops have been gron and it will be ready for harvesting in a months time . Thank you so much for... More

I needed to connect with myself again and can not think of a better place to do it in. Thank you for such an authentic experience. It really is hard to switch off. Namuka Bay facilitates this gently. If you get a chance sit on the lounge built by Simon and stare straight up to the stars.

Thank you for your comments. Please do pass the word around. There are lots of visitors looking for this experience but they seldom find it due to mass marketing by other resorts please remember that we have only 8 villa units and a lagoon that is unpolluted and a beach that is remotely secluded , ensuring that your experience in... We had a one night stay here recently and it is a bit of a hidden gem. The road from the main highway is a bit of an adventure but will be suitable for most vehicles, just drive carefully on the gravel. The location is amazing on a really unspoilt piece of coastline with nothing aside from bush and some... More

Thank you for your comments about namuka bay .. indeed if families knew that namuka was not only a resort but it catered for the health concious and eco touristic and familiy minded traveellers than we would have more familiies come and stay. Please do pass the word around. Our lagoon is the safest place for toddlers to swim and... More
