As with most travellers going to Fiji you have to burn a night in Nadi before going to your final destination. Usually some budget type of accommodation is sort after. We decided to try a little resort that was reccommended to us by another fellow traveller and stayed at Fantasia. We called thier reservations number only to find out that they had one room available so we took it. Upon arrival it was like enetring the garden of Eden. The staff were polite and helpful and escorted us to our room......well let me say that when we went in the room it was larger than anything i had seen before. It was a HOUSE! two huge bedrooms and giant enterntaining area upstairs with balconies all around. super clean and decorated like a home away from home. The villa was on the creeks edge that was teaming with fish. The surrounding areas were immaculate and when we decided to explore this tiny resort we were certainly impressed. The gymnasium was world class and was managed by the former Mr Fiji (Ben). Ben doted on us and guided us through a workout program he designed which we fully intend on sticking to when we get back to sydney. Later in the evening we ate at the Yiamas Greek Tavern...i found that amusing..a Greek Tavern in Fiji. well although ammused we were amazed at the quality of the food. Greek cusine at its best and certainly the best in Fiji. A special thanks to ili our waitress who had a smile so big and made our night so pleasant. This is a small resort with about 5-6 rooms in total. It also seems to be a favorite spot for the local expats all with great stories to tell. Because of time restraints we didnt get to use the spa so i cant comment there. Perhaps our room was an overkill for just two people. Our villa would easily accommodate 6 people. For us we will definately be back and if they are booked out we will certainly be eating there again. Thanks guys for making just that one day special for us! Yiasou!

My family love this place - the pool, the meals, the staff. The complete refurbishment in 2011 by the Sofianopolous family has created a wonderful relaxing oasis perfect for a day trip or long term stay. This is a boutique resort in a quiet tropical part of Nadi. It's not on the beach (but really you don't want to swim in Nadi bay anyway). Fantasia has everything you need for a relaxing break or a quick stop over on your way too or from the airport. There is a Pure Fiji Spa, delicious Greek Taverna, Conference Centre, fully-equipped gym and huge pool. The villas range from intimate honeymoon style to the 2 storey self-contained treehouse style. Fantasia is for you, if you want to get away from busy Denarau and don't want to be surrounded by back-packers. At Fantasia you can still have quality accommodation and facilities at a reasonable price.

We had a bad experience here. We had visions of ocean waves, but we got a tidal canal and when we went for a walk to find the beach we were subjected to heavy duty treatment by security guards and the Developer of the big subdivision next to Oceans Edge who was quite rude. We nervously explained where we were staying and we were allowed to proceed. The only place to get to the beach had gates across it. The gym set up was good, and restaurant bar OK. But Ocean's edge it is not. Perhaps the owner Steve who seemed quite pleasant could do something about the officious security because they look and act menacing.

Oceans Edge...................yeah right, More like reclamation and diggers. This place is on a dirty canal,we were so disappointed after arriving off a long flight. Steve the owner - Del boy - made the best of a bad situation, but we wont be back - know wot I mean. Heres a list of alternatives - Nadi Bay Hotel,Beachside Resort or Aquarius.

We loved this place. It's about 15 min by taxi from the airport. The gym is really modern and hudge! There is a yoga studio as well although there were no classes at the time we were there, but the equipment is all new and not having done any exercise for about 2 weeks - I loved it! They have a proper lap swimming pool and a great hydro therapy spa pool as well which is just like having a massage under the water! Great before a flight! Our room was clean and comfortable if a little basic, but there were flowers everywhere in the room, and decorating the bed, which was beautiful to walk into, and a glorious fruit bowl to munch on. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. There are no set times for the restaurant, the only thing is you have to book your meal in the evening, but there is no restriction of times. We stayed here 2 nights before our flight out and were able to use the room until we had to leave for the airport in the evening - I totally recomend this as agreat place to stay before flying home.
