Stayed for 3 nights after coming back from the yasawas before going onto the rest of Fiji. The hostel itself is awesome, the foods the best I've had in Fiji, bar is always busy and full of interesting people, beers cheep and it has great beach access. It's right next to the airport so Some people check in at 2am... More

Exactly that! The energy at bamboo is incredible because the staff treat all their guests even the locals with the most genuine Fijian Hospitality there is....never a dull moment, or shortage of good food, drinks, partying, chilling, kava, boys, girls, holiday romancing, it's a great place to do so much or do nothing at all! Enjoy!

We had a twin room here and was a great size with a sink also which is quite handy. Room service was offered everyday however we chose to have it every other. The housekeepers were very lovely and chatty and helpful when we had a request. There is plenty of food options if you want a meal or quick snack.... More

Great place for young travellers looking for party and meeting others. We would have preferred a place that didn't have music on ALL night, and would not recommend this. When booking you don't know what hostel in the area you get a room in.

I arrived from an overnight flight from HK. The pick-up did not work out (Fiji time) so I had to call the hostel to pick me up. Waited for another 45mins but finally arrived there. Coz I am getting older, I opted for a private room. It was located down the road in another building - no big deal. The... More

Bamboo is a good place if your traveling alone. The boys working there will make you feel right at home. Big Bon Fires there the whole week I was there. Singing around the fire. Dancing too. Very close to all the night life in Nadi. Fiji Pro was going on when we where there. We met a sailor without a... More

Stayed in a mixed dorm room and the bunks were pretty noisey, creaked a lot! BUT the bed itself was really comfy. But that's budget for you. The staff are really friendly. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and you can dine out with your feet in the sand. I ended up staying in Smugglers after, which in my... More

Great to meet other travellers. Clean. Nice cafe, good food and reasonably priced. Beach not really swimmable but a good place to spend a night or two when off to other places. Best spot to stay if in Nadi.

Overall a great place to use as your launchpad into Fiji (if you're travelling Fiji look up the bula pass which is helpful for the yasawas). It is a nice hostel with decent rooms, OK bathrooms, a free airport transfer service, and also a cool bar/restaurant that means you can eat and drink until late whilst sitting on the beach... More
