We stayed here for our first and last night in Fiji - it's a cheap backpackers hostel but it's not low quality. Rooms and facilities were clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly - service for food (even at busy times) and drinks was very good. Local beer is pretty good. And it's right on the beach Locals seem to come and play volleyball on the beach each evening which is fun to watch (too old to join in now!) and one of them climbed a palm tree to throw down some coconuts.

I went to this bar in March all by myself, and I ended up meeting some awesome people and hanging with them all night. The staff is also amazing as well, very easy people to vibe with. They gave me recommendations on things to do across Fiji too.

I don't think I have enough kind words for this hostel and it's staff! Hostel it's self is nice and clean, good air con in the room! The restaurant has SUCH good food and reasonably priced! The smoothies from the Cafe are delicious! And the staff! Everyone helps you live the fiji way, no hurry, no worry! They are so genuine and want to make your time there so enjoyable! They help you make some friends if you're travelling in your own! And always up for activities! The kava nights are a must! The travel desk is amazing and their day trips were just incredible! And again, reasonably priced too! I just want to say a huge vinaa vaalevu to Meki, Cali, Joe, Teo and everyone else at Bamboo!

If your after all night fun and drinks well into the wee hours, then this is the place for you!! Many different accommodations are available from bunk rooms to your very own ensuite rooms. Spread over a few different streets, the workers on site are so stress-free and awesome. Willing to bend over backwards for you. Rooms could be a bit cleaner. Beds are not overly soft, plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. All within walking distance. Great day tour desk on site.
