We traveled from Suva to the village for a girls day trip - what a delight it turned out to be! The village and eco lodge are still recovering, and as of our visit the end of April they still did not have any power. They are working hard on repairs and welcome anyone who want to come, day or... The lodge was hit by Winston one month ago and this what you can recognise at the very first moment when you arrive. The place looks amazing still, and the staff and the people from the village close by working hard to make the lodge shining again. Everyone is friendly and lovely, helpful and smiling at you. The cook will... More

Hidden in a secluded cove off the beaten track, nestled in the Fijian Village of Nataleira, the Natalei Eco lodge is a hidden gem and a place to chill in Fiji. Situated on a beach front of rich volcanic black sand, the lodge offers modest accommodation for families, groups, Individuals and couples. The premise consists of eight bures (cabins) and... More

If anyone is going to Fiji, staying at the eco lodge is a must. It is a beautiful, unique location right on the water. You are right in the village, so you are able to grasp a cultural perspective. The staff at the eco lodge, are down to earth locals, who are entertaining and friendly. I have no complaints about... More

Two weeks ago, we met with our group of friend (all working for the same company) and decided to go on a retreat. We chose Natalei Eco Lodge and am glad that we chose this simple, yet extremely peaceful place, over 5 star accommodation. We had a whale of our time and our minds were completely relaxed. The small number... More

This place is truly beautiful! Right on the beach. The black sand is an interesting change. Not what you would expect in Fiji. It's great! Fiji isn't all white sandy beaches and pina coladas, as a friend of mine says!! Our group of six (three adults and three teenagers) stayed only one night. What a night it was! We first... More

Natalei is truly one of the most beautiful hidden secrets on this planet. I've never been to a place more secluded or beautiful. It's an amazing way to experience authentic Fiji village life. We had three local women cooking the most incredible food for us three times a day. All people in the village were so happy and friendly. This... More

Was an awesome place to go to, to get away from the city life. Ive never felt soooo relaxed in a while loving the view of the sunset and sunrise from the bures with the beautiful black sand. I would definitely go back there when I go back to Fiji. The staff and villagers are sooo helpful and cheerful just... More

Natalei Eco Lodge sits near Nataleira Village (which owns and runs it) on a nice black sand beach. It has spacious grounds, half a dozen five-bed bures, and common ares. It is one of two accommodation options in the area (Takalana retreat is the other) and both boast close access to see the large pod of dolphins at Moon Reef,... More
