Lovely resort situated right on the beachfront of the stunning Cook Islands. Rooms are big with lots of space, lounge area and kitchenette in the room. Bathroom spacious and the shower has fantastic water pressure. The resort has 2 pools both pools are OK however you don't go to Raro for the pools. Tropical breakfast is included however I would...

This was a pleasant resort in a very convenient location with beautiful gardens and lagoon frontage. Clients are restricted to over 18 yrs so it was quiet and relaxing. The in-house anchorage restaurant had excellent food, but there were other nearby restaurants and bars if you wanted a change. We had a poolside 2 bedroom suite which was very clean...

Just returned from a 5 night, 7 day trip and really enjoyed the stay, with only a few problems. The room was a great size and well appointed, including a kitchenette stocked with dishes and cookware. Our location was poolside on the west side of the pool, which proved to be a problem with noise. First the rooster who crowed...

Kia Orana Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I know that the roster alarm clock's or lack of can be frustrating. They are a necessary part of our little paradise as they keep the insect population under control. We are pleased to read that you found the facilities in your room well appointed and our location...

This Resort has got the quality/service/price mix right! Our studio was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was well serviced as required by a very friendly lady. The pool facilitates and gardens were similarly well maintained. The continental breakfast was adequate and a cooked breakfast was available at extra cost. The main breakfast hostess (Vi) was very bubbly and engaging....

We have just returned from 7 nights in Raratonga staying at the sunset resort. The resort itself is lovely, big rooms, with small kitchenettes we cooked ourselves dinner 3 nights, full size fridge, good bed and bathroom, plenty of hanging space. We had room 33 which was set back near the pool ground floor. Very private, but we could walk...

Kia Orana Thank you for taking the time to write your review. All of the beef and lamb is imported onto the island and is generally very good. We will ensure that your feedback regarding your restaurant experience is handed on to the Anchorage management and I do hope that you mentioned your concerns to the staff at the time....

My partner and I stayed at Sunset resort for 7 nights in October. I really did my research before coming to Rarotonga and the Sunset Resort stood out as the best option - it really lived up to expectation. We were collected from the airport by Rua, very friendly and welcoming - cool guy! He offered to take us by...

We stayed at the Sunset Resort on Raro, for 10 days for our honeymoon back in June 2016. Initially from the get go, we were unsure, yet excited as we had never visited Rarotonga before & knew next to nobody who had been, from all the way over in little old Perth, Australia. Right from when we landed (after 2...

Had a two bedroom apartment on the beachfront. (No. 8). Very good location and great size. One full bathroom with toilet plus an extra separate toilet. Big lounge and kitchen area and a nice outdoor patio. Worked well and is private being right at the end. Ocean is beyond a lawn area. Liked the Sunset resort as its small and...

Kia orana Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It sounds like your family had a wonderful time together. Our no children under 12 years of age policy does make the resort a great place for adult families to spend time together relaxing and enjoying the resort, restaurants and beach . As well as the occasional cocktail...

We spent 5 days here holidaying with friends from Canada. We would definitely recommend the beachfront rooms. Worth spending a little more to hear the waves crashing on the reef and to look straight out on the ocean from your bed. Could always find a shady seat or hammock on the beach. Rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. They also...
