We stayed here for one night before we went to friends. It a nice hostel in a good place easy to find and close by some good restaurants. The place is nice but the staff makes the difference. So if you want to have a good stay go here.

Best hostel I have stayed so far. It is located in the old center of montevideo and is owned by a super friendly family, which lives in the hostel. they speak fluent Spanish, English and German. the wifi is super fast and works reliably. the kitchen is very large and clean. The breakfast is plentiful, but lacks fruit. rooms are...

This little gem in the Old City was exactly what I needed. The place is spacious and clean. The family who live and work in the hostel are so welcoming and friendly. There is ample space in the kitchen. Always hot water in the shower. The wifi works well. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel safe...

Right in the historic-centre this quiet little hostel offers all you need. Spacious dorm with lockers. Enough and clean bathrooms and showers (good water-pressure with hot-water). Great breakfast; almost a buffet. Fast and stable wifi. And very friendly, helpful and fun staff (Spanish, Englisch, German). It's not a party-hostel, mind you. But the atmosphere exists nevertheless. Definitely recommend this place...

Was only supposed to stay for two nights but due to waiting for a visa at the brazil consulate ended up here for over a week. Owner made me feel at home here and I enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen at night. Great location for walking to the oceanfront or into downtown. Breakfast was ample and there was use...

We arrived in the afternoon and the staff were there to greet us and show us to our room. They seemed friendly and showed us around. There is free wifi which worked well. And the showers had hot water. We got to the room and the light was not working. The owner told us for that night to use the...

Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. The older gentleman at the door was very welcoming late night as I took a ferry from Buenos Aires. Super high ceilings. At $19 USD a night this is normally pricey for me, but seriously one of the nicer hostels in #Uruguay. Set in the old town of Cuidad Viejo, the showers were boiling hot, and...

If you are paying hostel prices this would be ok, but we paid $80 per night for a private room that was both dated and had not been properly cleaned. The manager was unfriendly and gave us no information about the city. The location of the hostel is also not great in that the old town in March was deserted...

I stayed for one night given its proximity to the port. The facilities are excellent: beds are large, rooms are comfortable, bathrooms offer hot water and constant shower pressure. Kitchen facilities are modern and ample in both supplies and equipment. WiFi was fast in common areas. Breakfast was large, filling, and delicious. What really made the Hostel a great place...

We stayed at this hostel in July when the weather could be pretty cold and rainy at times. The owners who you will get to know and love, will treat you like family. They were more than happy to let us borrow umbrellas when the rains came and even allowed us to pull up chairs to the fireplace that is...
