The hostel lobby itself is very cool! A great structure, beautiful chilling lobby, big kitchen and places to eat, but they have a lot of improvements to make... We met with a guy who has lived there for 2 years and assure us it was a really good place, so I assume we came at a bad time. We booked... More

Nice place, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, so it attracts amazing people. Staff is friendly, and every night you will have the chance to try the famous Asado (barbecue) made by Federico. I will definitely come back here.

I decided to book a couple nights here despite the bad reviews (I think a lot of people have too high standards). The good: we stayed during the week so no one was there, the staff was helpful and welcoming, the balcony area was great to hang out. The bad: I got sick from the mold in my room, most... More

All of the below reviews are entirely accurate. The place has so much potential with a really nice common area and decent kitchen. However the place, particularly the bathrooms, are filthy. The descriptions of the facilities on hostel bookers/hostel world is inaccurate and the staff are careless and unfriendly (except for 1 whom I feel the place would fall apart... More

Seriously, I've been to more than 70 countries, and this its by far the worst hostel I've ever been to. Disgusting, run down, horrible rooms and even worse beds. Music from reception blaring all night, so good luck getting any sleep. Oh, and people smoking all over the place. I actually don't even know who is staff here, because everyone... More

We chose tihs place for the simple reason, that it was the cheapest place to stay in town. Our stay lasted for almost a week in Montevideo, and it is among the worst run places i've ever set foot in my life. Because it so cheap, it attracts a huge variety of characters, with all it's benefits, and disadvantages. There... More

Semi weird hostel that needs serious remodeling. I had a short stay in Montevideo on a 5 country tour for my bday in South America. I didn't read any reviews because I was tired and the bus ride was miserable from the airport. Had to walk 10 blocks from where the bus let me off. Montevideo is mostly monotone and... More

Really dirty hostel! There was weed on my bed when I arrived and I was told not to worry about it. Then the staff/friends of staff woke me up at 3am to try sell me weed! I couldn't believe it! There are way better options. Not very useful information about the city either.

I visited this hostel because it was cheap and it looked good. At first glance, it was also good, I and my friend booked us in for 2 nights, because we were going to some place else. First night I was put on a 16 people's rooms, and my friend on a 6 person room (with only girls). I diden't... More
