The good: Nice shared bathroom, nice people The bad: The full breakfast was nothing more than sliced bread, coffee and jams. There was a 9% surcharge for using my credit card (should be noted in their description). BTW- it is not a hotel as Expedia called it. The ugly: The linens smelled like they had not dried properly. Never again.

We loved our stay at Una Noches Mas! Eduardo & Carla were lovely and friendly hosts making our stay very enjoyable. It was a fun and quirky place with lots of character. We had a roof top room that opened up to a wonderful roof top patio where you could see the city and the water. They also picked us...

We slept in the 'tower room' at the top of the building, surrounded by a our private roof terrace. Lovely homely atmosphere and we got all the help we could wish for in planning our days in the city. A bit more remote but this meant we could park the car (free) without problems. Taking the bus to the centre...

I'm not sure if I had unrealistic expectations as Una Noche Mas was the first B&B I visited in South America and I am a former B&B manager from Canada, however I found some things there decidedly odd. First let me say that Eduardo and Carla were delightful people and I enjoyed them and their hospitality very much. Carla, in...

Carla and Eduardo are nice and they do what they can for you feel comfortable and welcome. The house is very clean. The breakfast is OK and it usually has regional food. They offered us baked apples and some candies. It was a very good time. The neighborhood is quiet and silent and it is near to nice places to...

We had a lovely relaxing three days at Una Noche Más, wish we could have stayed much longer. Carla, and Eduardo are the nicest people you could ever meet, warm hearted, and caring, we were made to feel that their home was ours. Nothing is to much trouble for them, and the advise on where to eat, buses to catch...

Staff does utmost to make you feel at home, but this does not take away the dark and tiny rooms, nor the high prices, the meagre continental breakfasts and the shared facilities (no water in your room).

The property is a "country cottage" located in a city, close to places of interest. Montevideo is larger than you might expect in terms of distances. Yet public transit for this location is readily available for $US 1 per ride. We used buses most days to get to our destinations. The owner and host (Eduardo) was amazing in every positive...

“Top floor is very quiet, very light, has best access to roof deck, and has less 'traffic' from other guests. You share the bathroom and living/eating space with one other room, a floor below. As such, you end up using the semi-public space all the time, and the guests (if any) form the floor below use it sparingly.”

“Might want to make sure what sort of beds are available in your room. One room was a bit crowded with both a bunk bed and a single bed, but the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and it was not a problem for us. The sheets and towels were changed frequently during our week long stay. Shared bathrooms was not a problem as there are just a few guest rooms.”
