We stayed here after completing the Inca Trail, so we were looking forward to some comfort and it didn’t disappoint. The location is stunning, and the hotel and gardens beautifully kept. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable and after 4 days trekking and camping the baths & showers were a delight. The food was excellent, although service was very slow ( I’m guessing as it was towards the end of the season, only us and a couple of other guests and staffing was low, understandably) The staff were friendly and whilst we had one Spanish speaker with us the other 4 in our group appreciated the excellent level of English spoken by the team at the hotel. Would certainly stay again, and would recommend.

We came here only for the welcome reception for a wedding we were attending in the Sacred Valley, not to stay. It was a beautiful space with a lovely courtyard and back garden. They served tasty pisco sours and delicious pizzas for us all and created a very nice atmosphere to welcome us all to the Valley.

Beautiful hacienda style hotel with beautiful courtyards and gardens. Right opposite Inca terraces and great walk up amongst them.
Helpful and friendly staff with good English.
Rooms on roadside are beautiful but a bit noisy as only road along Valley - Tuktuks especially.
Breakfast was lovely (ate other meals in Urubamba which is five minute drive away by taxi or tuktuk.)
Great place for a days acclimatisation

I arrived with a group of 20 others. The hotel is beautiful outside with views that are hard to beat. Once inside a different story. Disregarding minor inconveniences like spotty Wi-Fi , hard lumpy beds and a below average restaurant, the most intolerable thing about this place was the lack of hot water! Of the 12 or so rooms that our group occupied no one had had water except for a few who complained at the front desk. For travelers who have been riding all day on bumpy roads, reaching your hotel to realize you can't get a decent shower is the pits.

Our group stayed here only one night in transition to Aguas Calientes. Of all of the hotels we stayed at while in Peru, this is by far the best one!. Nice, modern, clean rooms, beautiful grounds, and the food was excellent!

Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. The view from the dining room of the Andes was awesome. We couldn't believe the view while sipping on our morning coffee. We did not want to leave.

Customer service was top notch - They were very helpful and friendly, even if we did not speak Spanish very well.

Dinner the night before Probably the best meal we had while in Peru. I don't have the photos of the food that my friends ordered. But they ordered more traditional dishes. I wanted something quick and easy so I ordered a burger, which was great and perfect for late dinner with wine.

We arrived after 8pm and were tired and hungry and they did not disappoint.

I would stay here again in a heart beat!

We stayed at Casona de Yucay for 3 nights as we explored the Sacred Valley. The property is absolutely exquisite with lots of places to sit outside and relax and take in the amazing scenery. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The restaurant and bar are beautiful spaces and the bar, especially, which is surrounded by windows to the beautiful grounds, is a perfect place to relax. The breakfasts were delicious and the dinner and room service options were both excellent. Also, Yucay is a sweet and charming village to stroll through and not as crowded as Urabamba or Ollyantaytambo.

I got here in an impromptu stop in a quaint little town in the andes. Little did I know that I was going to arrive in a little jewel settled between mountains and an ancient culture. There was peace and a sense of wonderment that grew exponentially over the time I spent here. Well located, peacefull, great facilities, excellent service were the stepping stones for a magnificent experience that drove me to extend my stay and use the time to explore around. If we add the great cuisine and comfortable rooms, well what can I say.... superb. Poetry made in hospitality. Over breakfast I had the best French Toasts I ever had... and I have been around. To start the day with that piece of heavenly flavor was just the corollary of my stay here. I just don't recommend it, I thoroughly endorse and must insist you stay here. You can thank me later. It was not an stay in a lovely place. It was an experience I will never forget.

This hotel is very beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous, the whole property is very charming and clean. The dining room and lobby overlook the gardens and the food is delicious. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. And my room was very comfortable. I would love to come back to this tranquil place for a longer stay.

Hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Lovely grounds and mountainous back drop! Our room needed some TLC. Was a decent size with a big comfy bed. Food was decent, especially dinner! Ideal as there’s not much outside of the hotel.

Hello Yes, there 2 train stations at the Sacred Valley: one in Ollantaytambo (25 minutes by car from here) and the other one in Urubamba (7 minutes by car from here). But the train that stops at Urubamba does not stop at Ollanta Station You can enter to Peru Rail web page to choose your train, train station and schedule. Best regards, Flavia.

Depends on your schedule. If your final stop is Machu Picchu then you should go straight to Ollanta. We went from Cusco to sacred valley on tour bus then the next day took a taxi to ollanta for the train to Machu Picchu.
