It is a very beautiful hotel. Location and ambience are marvelous. Very well kept gardens sounded by the mountains. Everything to be a paradise. Buffet breakfast is very well served, many varieties of fruit, eggs to order and whatever you may want. Nice staff members, willing to help. So why the so poor rating? One capital sin for a luxurious...

We were just surprised when we stepped into every space of this hotel, the reception, the restaurant, the coffee shop and especially the large and very well designed rooms. The bathroom was large and every thing looks pretty in good conditions. Very happy with everything!

From the moment we arrived until we packed our bags into the van waiting to take us to Ollanta train station, the service and charm of this place was consistently present. Located in Yucay which is in the outskirts of Urubamba, one couldn´t have picked a better or lovelier place to rest, unwind and chill out the effects of soroche,...

This Sonesta has multiple restaurants, vendors, llamas, fruit trees and a church. Unfortunately it is very noisy and creaky - you will need ear plugs to sleep, and eye coverings because the curtains are so thin. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower cycles from freezing cold to blistering hot - so be prepared to step out of the water...

Beautiful surroundings, good size rooms with WiFi, hair dryer, TV and phone (no coffee maker/kettle or fridge). Rooms are spread out in two storey buildings. Several restaurant options on the property. To the right as you exit the main reception area is are two restaurants good for lighter options at lunch or dinner. Recommend the club sandwich and the wood...

Stayed her for 2 nights while on tour of Peru, the staff were very friendly and helpful, their english was just nothing short of impeccable. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The food was lovely, there was plenty of it. The views of the surrounding mountains were spectacular.

Definitely gives you a lot for your money, Amazing service and great views. The food was great, clean modern rooms, but without looking that classic rustic look that we need and expect on towns like Urubamba and on the way to Machu Pichu

The hotel is simply beautiful set in amazing flower filled landscaped gardens with its own chapel and little craft market Waking up on a morning and walking out into the gardens and looking around to see that you are nestled between the mountains is just breathtaking.
