Mario and Alizee treated me like royalty. This resort is a wonderful, beautiful hotel located in a quiet, peaceful area, easy to find and close enough to the main road and the town of Urabamba. We went to see the salt mines which is on the Inca trail which is only a 40 minute hike from the resort. In 5... More

I stayed here for several days while on a yoga retreat. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and it is so peaceful and relaxing! There is a little stream running through the property that sounds so lovely! You do get noise/music from surrounding properties but it's not obnoxious and the walls must be very thick because once I was in my... More

I recently stayed here for a yoga retreat, and the setting is magical - surrounded by the beauty of the Sacred Valley. The owners Ernesto and Isabel could not have been more lovely - providing tours of the salt flats and Moray, and sharing their knowledge of what makes this mystical area unlike any other. And Isabel cooks an amazing... More

Stayed here for about 8 days during a yoga retreat. The setting is beautiful, the common room and meditation/yoga room were great (minus the feisty scorpion - I don't think I can blame the lodge for that). The rooms were clean. There is a difference between the rooms in terms of "roominess" depending upon where you are set up -... More

We spent 3 nights and it was a huge disappointment. Having read all these raving reviews we expected much more. To start with the nice experience, the grounds are beautiful in a quiet setting. This is where the good experience ends. The room was spacious but not clean. The fridge still held the rotten leftovers from former guests. There was... More

My husband, sister and I stayed at Hatun Wasi in November. Isabelle was a fantastic host. The rooms were spacious and clean. The grounds are beautiful. The food fantastic. We would highly recommend this place. You get first class service and really feel you are part of the Peruvian culture.

Andres was very helpful while we were there...they have wonderful grounds, and it's fun to lay out at night and watch the Milky Way and shooting stars...due to some tiny error, we were given the Casita for just the two of us, and it was wonderful and roomy...breakfast was also delicious.

What a fabulous place for our yoga group to stay while we had our first visit to Peru. Even before we arrived, the owners, Ernesto and Isabel, assisted us in planning our trip to Peru. They added so many extra touches: picking us up from the airport, arranging trips and transportation, planning special and personalized ceremonies for our group, amazing... More

Ideally located in the sacred valley. we enjoyed a wonderful variety of day trips from the hotel. The grounds are fantastic, with beautiful lush gardens. The Meditation center was ideal for indoor yoga practice, meditation and group gatherings. Isabell, Ernesto and the staff were friendly and professional. The service was top notch. The help Isabell in planing out trip was... More
