Booked the hotel as a romantic night for my partner and I. As we showed there was no one at reception, this place looked abandoned and we had to look for the (very helpful and friendly) gardener to help us. After calling the host, he mentioned that he just saw our reservation, but that just the night before there where issues with out room and he could not offer the room we booked. As we paid for a suite with a jacuzzi, we where we expecting another option as the property has many 2 story bungalows and multiple room with jacuzzi. But no, the manager gave us a small room, ni balcony, no jacuzzi and a room with cigarette filters outside of patio. We asked if we could use the spa services, but no we had to wait 3 hours for it to warm up. The restaurant and the bar would not open for another 3 hours as well, and no to forget, the surroundings are stunning. But there are no shops, restaurants or bars in the area as you are in the hills 15min from the town Urubamba. When I asked if I could see the room I initially reserved, he said that there where people working on the jacuzzi, and that he didn’t have the keys. To us it seemed like a lot of BS, maybe a double booked room, but definitely miss management and a disappointment. Thanks to the great service from hotels.com. We got a refund and have found a great hotel downtown with breathtaking views and spa services that don’t take 3 hours enter. Loved the idea of Sacred dreams, but it was a great disappointment!

It’s kind of a fairy tale place! The view was magic, the amazing trees and the river left me without words. The spa made me love this place even more, as I could see the moon while relaxing ☺️ Besides the attention was outstanding , the staff was always kind and aware of my requests. Definitely would come back and totally recommend it! 🦋 Ps: I had a delicious dessert next to the fireplace!

The place is really nice and quiet, manned by wonderful staff that could assist you in the things you need. Germain the manager will help you in whatever way he can. And yes if I’m heading back to Peru I’ll stay in here again.

This is a few miles off the main road and at one point we were wondering if the drive over small bumpy roads was worth it - oh yes it is! We pulled up to the reception and it was like arriving in a magical forest. The setting is amazing as is the hospitality. The rooms are big, well appointed with big comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Our room had a fireplace and there was a private hot tub in a small courtyard. We had big skylights so when the sun was up the room brightened (if you want to sleep late you may want a different room). The dinner was delicious as was the breakfast (included) in the morning.

We stayed just one night at this lodge after touring the Sacred Valley. The hotel was very well kept and had beautiful rooms. My favorite part of the stay was playing with the two kittens that lived there and talking with the employees while we had dinner. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We stayed in the suite pictured here for two nights. Pedrito, one of their adorable kitties, gave us an unexpected and smile-inducing welcome and he even stayed for a siesta with me. Germán was diligent and very helpful in giving us all the information we needed, making great suggestions for lunch at Terra, and getting our breakfasts-to-go and trips organized while we were there. The hot shower was a most welcome treat after our long walk in Machu Picchu. Lighting the fire in the room after the sun set created the perfect ambiance for restful nights under the stars. We loved our stay there!

Wow!! What a gorgeous place. This hotel was tucked away on top of a mountain and it was heaven! It is a bit out of the way from urubamba, so you can't really go anywhere once you're there unless you take a taxi. It's covered in all kinds of flowers and hummingbirds. The rooms are beautiful and rustic. Each room has a fireplace. We stayed in the suite with the Jacuzzi for part of our stay, and loved it. (It takes about 2 hrs to fill). The only thing that was a bit odd is that we were the only ones staying in the hotel at the time and it can be a little scary being all alone up there in the middle of nowhere, with no ppl, no staff, no tv except the 2 hotel kittens that kept us company. It did give us more time for eachother. Overall, if you want to be away and disconnect i would highly recommend this beautiful, unforgettable place. Tip: do not use the hotel's taxi service. Its very expensive compared to a regular taxi. On 1 day trip alone we saved 250 soles by using a regular taxi.

We spent three wonderful nights at Sacred Dreams in the most beautiful setting at the base of a mountain in total privacy. The rooms/sweets are in several buildings with magnificent groups surrounding each building. We chose a large room with huge balcony and enjoyed every minute of our stay. HIGHS General Manager German (his name not origin) offered personality and service at the highest level Very comfortable bed Great shower with rainfall head and tons of hot water Excellent Wifi Spectacular views from room and balcony A dog and 2 cats who can follow you to your room and come for a visit - very sweet Nice dining room with excellent dinners and good wines Sufficient breakfast with small buffet and made to order eggs etc. LOWS Not really a low but it is so private it’s hard to find but still close to town We loved this place and so glad we based ourselves out of it. German was fantastic and has created a special and unique hideaway for us to escape the world and discover old worlds.
