My girlfriend and I felt so taken care of at Lizzy Wasi for our two night stay. From the gorgeous landscape, to the comfortable rooms, and wonderful amenities (the sauna and jacuzzi are worth it, especially after a big trek or Machu Picchu adventure) – this hotel is incredible, seriously. We were debating three other options and we were so happy with our choice to stay here. As others have said though, the best part was the staff. We want to shoutout everyone who made our time so special: 🙏 Thank you Alvaro, Renato, and Jesus at the Front desk for taking care of all our needs and coordinating with taxis for all our adventures. 🍱 Thank you Erwin, Erica and Jovita for serving us wonderful meals, and Elvis, Avelina, Kevin and Brnady for cooking us food with such love (and accommodating our dietary needs. 🧼 Thank you Asunta and Matilde for cleaning our rooms. 🌅 Thank you Heyness, Jaime, and Percy for making the landscape so beautiful. 🐈 Thank you Kitty and Santiago for being the sweetest cats. 🦙 And finally thank you Micaela and Amaru for being the cutest alpacas. We can’t wait to come back!!! …
The hotel was beautiful. Courtyards and outdoor seating. Outdoor fire pit. The staff was amazing. The breakfast and dinners were excellent. Very artsy. The best part about the stay was the staff. We ask lots of questions leading up to our visit and required lots of information during our visit. The staff was very service oriented. English was great. When I come back in the future, I will definitely stay here.
A beautiful oasis! My husband and I stayed 2 nights after working in the valley for a week. We were seeking rest and relaxation and we found it! Lizzy Wasi has stunningly beautiful grounds and an on-site restaurant. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. The highlight however was how well we were cared for by the staff! They are friendly and attentive. We’re not used to being spoiled like that but it was fabulous! The location is fantastic to walk into Urubamba or easy access to buses to other nearby sites and cities. Of course, the staff will also call a taxi for you and negotiate the rates prior to departure. We will be back to Lizzy Wasi!
Of all the places we stayed, this was our favorite! The staff was fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed and answering all our questions. The grounds and gardens were beautiful! The room was wonderfully decorated, clean and comfortable. Our breakfast and dinner were delicious too!
Every aspect of our stay was truly wonderful. The room was clean and very comfortable, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant is fantastic! What really sets this property apart from any other we stayed in on out trip is the staff. EVERY member of the staff was kind, patient, and happy to help. Great place, you'll be happy you stayed there.
My wife and her parents stayed at Lizzy Wassi for a few days to acclimatize for our trek on the Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu. Let me just say, we didn’t want to leave. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean. The grounds are gorgeous. The real gem of this place is the staff. The manager Alvarro made sure we had everything we needed. Renato ensured we always had rides to and from town and attractions and ensured we were with reputable taxi drivers that would not over charge us. The restaurant staff was so easy to communicate with and the food was PHENOMENAL! Look no further when booking your stay in Urubamba. This place is amazing.
I have been traveling to Peru for over 10 years & Lizzy Wasi never disappoints! Liz has put together a cohesive management and excellent staff to ensure each visitor has a top notch stay. Jesús; in the main office & staff will tirelessly and in good humor work with you to make your stay uncomplicated and fluid; and do so with a smile and good cheer. The accommodations are clean, spacious ( newer rooms) and very comfortable! The outside spaces are manicured and vibrant with local flora of many kinds. Plus! Those traveling with a vehicle; Lizzy Wasi offers safe protective parking within the grounds behind secure walls. A huge plus! The restaurant is beautiful with outdoor seating. The entrees diversified and very good. My only need that was hard for the kitchen to accommodate was my dietary restrictions of gluten free and no salt. I would love to see more of those offerings on the menu; that would have made my stay perfecto!! That being said… book your Sacred Valley stay at Lizzy Wasi; you won’t regret it! Thanks mucho Liz!…
On the way back from Machu Picchu our family of 3 decided to stay for the night at Urubamba and split the distance between Machu Picchu and Cusco. We made prior reservation, and when we arrived at Lizzy Wasi it was rather late at night. Yet the office staff was awaiting us and the kitchen was kept open, presumably just for us, so we could enjoy the warm dinner after a long day at Machu Picchu. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. And the meals on the property were made from scratch and just delicious. I wanted to acknowledge the manager, Jesus - that seemed to have worked around the clock, helping us with arrival and transportation to Cusco upon departure. Our experience could not be any more pleasant. After relaxing time at Lizzy Wasi Jesus arranged for our transportation to Cusco in luxurious full size tourist van at discounted rate. If we were to plan our Peru trip again, we’d consider anchoring for longer at Lizzy Wasi, which is conveniently located between many attractions in Sacred Valley, and make day trips from there. I wanted to extend my gratitude to all the staff for taking exeotional care of our family. Magdalena, Bianca and Art…
Lizzie Wasi is outstanding! Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The grounds are very peaceful with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. There are lots of places to lounge and relax. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting the sacred Valley. The staff including the manager, The restaurant manager, the wait staff, the grounds keepers as well as Liz, the owner, all go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. The breakfast is very nice. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. We had dinner there every night and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
We did a one night stay here and it was one of our biggest regrets not staying longer! Jesus was extremely accommodating and patient with our travel hiccups. All the staff here were phenomenal, everything you needed was right here. We stayed in the deluxe suite for 4 people and the fireplace made our night stay! EXTREMELY HOT WATER!! Such a pleasant surprise and on top of that we had lunch here and every plate was full of flavor and presentation was perfect. The next day of our checkout we had breakfast and everything was so warm and delicious. We tried our very first Pisco Sour here and it still is one of my favorite. We currently are doing a 9 day stay in Peru and Lizzy Wasi is still all we talk about wishing we stayed longer. You will not regret staying here!
