We had a wonderful five night stay at Lizzy Wasi. The staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make sure you were happy at all times. Jesus was a great communicator and making the reservation ahead of time was super easy. They use WhatsApp and are very responsive. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous. You feel like you’re in a magical fairy garden. Erwin was our server in the restaurant and he was quick to learn our preferences and made sure everything was ready for us ahead of time. One warm, beautiful morning he had the initiative to set up breakfast for us in the garden. It was absolutely lovely and could not have been nicer. Erwin's also a very gifted artist and has his work on display and for sale. I commissioned him to do a specific piece for me and it was absolutely beautiful. Erica and Barnaby also were super kind and helpful. The staff and the garden are the best parts of this hotel. Our room was just okay as there were no dressers to put your clothes and most importantly there weren't heaters in the room. It was down in the 30's at night during our stay so that was a bit chilly. That's the only downside to the hotel. Still, the staff's stellar service made up for that shortfall so I'm still giving it a five star review. In fact, one day we hiked to a waterfall and our shoes got covered in mud. Erica took our tennis shoes and had them washed for us. No charge. How amazing is that!? The restaurant food was delicious and affordable. The chef made us cuy one day because we were told we had to try it. Special requests were gladly fulfilled. We felt pampered and valued. Such amazingly lovely people!

This hotel was everything I would hope for and more. Gorgeous views, amazing food, extremely attentive and kind staff, and inexpensive, to boot. Jesús answered our every question and helped us with anything we needed (and spoke perfect english for those of us whose Spanish is not the best), and we took an amazing watercolor painting class with Erwin overlooking the mountains. They prepare you breakfast in the garden, and you can have a lovely fireside dinner outside looking at the stars. There are games, a volleyball net for playing, and even a trampoline. There are also two adorable kitties who happily roam the property. Rooms were very comfortable; Ours had a lovely balcony, and windows that opened to the beautiful outdoor setting. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. The staff was doting and eager to please and assist with every question and need. They have a garden on-site and so the food in their kitchen is very fresh and local. The workers spoke great English as well.

Our stay at Lizzy Wasi Hotel was one of the best we had in all of Peru. The staff were accommodating, thoughtful and kind. Lizzy herself was a wonderful lady who took the time to talk with us and make sure that we had everything that we needed at both her hotel and provided us her contact for the rest of our stay in Peru in the event we needed something. Our last night we were able to sit by an outside fire and have dinner and drinks brought to us. Could not have ask for a better experience.
