After two weeks of traveling and with another week still to go, we stayed here for three nights and loved the peace and tranquility in this pretty setting. Much of the day we arrived had been spent hiking, so the clean, quiet room and comfortable bed were a welcome sight. The next day was a "rest day" and we had...

I was quite taken aback with the beauty of this place, a hidden gem. Not what I was expecting in this small quaint town. The rooms were modern, simple in design no, fake cheesy furniture or images that invade rooms in the United States. Very, very clean and luxurious and I would go back. Strolling on the rock paths is...

We spent 3 nights here getting acclimatised for higher altitude. It's isolated but you can go out and walk down to the nearby river. The isolation and peacefulness is its charm- the grounds are lovely with flowers and alpaca. They do not have tv but you can get wifi in the bar area and although if can be cold at...

The grounds are truly gorgeous, and the rooms are lovely. Quiet and peaceful, with a bar right in the lobby, which is good as the wifi only reaches the very closest rooms and you'll likely have to go down to the lobby to log in. This was the best hotel I stayed in during my Peru trip.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a Gate 1 travel group. If you love the mountains and solitude, this hotel is perfect for you. There is VERY limited wifi and no television here, so if you need access to Wifi for work purposes, this is not a good hotel for you. If you can take a day or...

I'm not sure how one learns about this place. It is poorly marked and some distance over a dirt road from the highway between Cusco and Machu Picchu. But, once you've found it, it's worth a stay. Attributes: good food in the restaurant, competent drinks at the bar, a family business that has pride in its product, delightful wooden floors...

The one guy in reception made our stay very easy and comfortable. He spoke brilliant English and helped us with everything we could have possibly needed. Our room 111 was very spacious. Amazingly comfy beds. Lovely hot water showers with a view of the mountains. Bar in the reception was great. Cocktails were nice and they had a happy hour....

Stopped here for one night after visiting Sacred Valley and before an early pick-up to tackle the Inca Trail. The hotel is reached by driving up a dirt track. Once there it is in beautiful surroundings; lovely grounds and superb views of countryside. Our room was spacious although the lighting was somewhat dim and the main switch was near the...

We found this location very relaxing with spectacular views of the mountains. The road leading to the resort is a bit primitive, but once there, what a beautiful place. There's no tv, but it didn't matter a bit, it was great to relax without any distraction. This is a great stopover heading to Machu Picchu, we wish we could have...

When the tour bus took the road to the hotel, we all got a little worried in the bus (group booking with Gate1). However, the unpleasant little dirt road lead to a cutest and most welcoming little hotel. The view of the mountains surrounding the area were magnificent. Beautiful landscape. Very quiet and serene. Modern fixtures throughout the rooms and...
