We had a wonderful stay! Carlo and Lucy helped us arrange tours, gave us tips on what to do, where to eat, etc. Their hospitality made our trip. The food was delicious, (Carlo is a chef) our room comfortable and spotless. We loved sitting in the garden and meeting their cats. We can't wait to come back!

My husband, son and I spent six nights at Janaxpacha. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there. The location is perfect for exploring the Sacred Valley. There are interesting ruins in Ollantaytambo and Carlo and Lucy arranged three tours for us. One was a partial tour of the valley and another was a tour on...

Amazing stay! There's a reason why they have so many positive reviews, Carlo and Lucy are wonderful people and made the stay really enjoyable. Bed was comfortable, great space, and Carlo is a chef so the breakfast was simple but delicious. Wi-Fi was readily accessible. Used a shared bathroom and had hot water. Oh, and they have a water filter...

Carlo and Lucy warmly welcomed us. Janaxpacha is a beautiful small hostel a few blocks from the main plaza. We appreciated the shared kitchen. Each morning we were served a simple delicious hot meal. Our room had everything we needed. Of all our latin american travels, this place had the strongest internet. We enjoyed walking through town down into the...

My wife and I stayed here one night after visiting Machu Picchu. Carlo was one of the most hospitable I have ever met. We enjoyed getting to know him and he made us a fantastic breakfast and helped to arrange transportation for us back to Cusco, Peru. Very good room for the price.

This was my second visit to Ollanta and Janaxpacha, first in the new location and wow! My room was quiet, cozy and comfortable, the warm shower very much appreciated, and the whole building was beautifully decorated. Carlo and Lucy are the best hosts you could hope to find. Their recommendations of short hikes in the area, local attractions I missed...

We stayed at Janaxpacha for almost a week and most things were great, especially the host couple. We hade some problems with the water, but it seemed to be because of the municipal system. The breakfast was good compared to the other places we stayed at in Peru and Bolivia. Recommended!

This great hostel lies minutes from the plaza. Its garden has a great hammock to relax in. A kitchen is available for guest use, as is free tea anytime. Lucy and Carlo, who own Janaxpacha Hostel are some of the kindest people who've hosted me, and I've travelled all over the world. Carlo loaned me an informative book on the...

A few weeks ago my partner and I drove our motorbike up the Sacred Valley. With no planned itinerary or destination. We arrived after dark at the quaint Janaxpacha. Firstly what had caught our eye was the handpainted wooden sign (a welcome change to tacky earth destroying plastic). On it was written Hostel and MORE. So of course we decided...
