The staff were very nice but the hostel is very expensive for what its offered. The rooms were clean but the shower sometimes loose the water pressure or go cold. The wifi signal don't work in some rooms. It's a good hotel for those who are vegetarian or willing to just chill at their garden, wich is very beauthifull. If... More

We decided to use this hotel as our place of stay in Ollantaytambo. We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. The rooms are pretty big and our triple room came with 2 single beds and 1 double bed. The room was ready for us right away when we checked in. The garden is beautiful as well as the mountain... More

If you want to be close to central Ollantaytumbo without staying in downtown this place may fit the bill for you. The accommodations are average and this is not even up to USA standards for a good motel, but the people were very nice and accommodating and the price was reasonable for this area. It's a steep walk up a... More

We stayed two nights at Apu Lodge. The setting and gardens are beautiful and the sound of running water everywhere in Ollantaytambo is so relaxing. Our kids loved lying around in the hammocks at the lodge and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are great and the beds are comfortable. A ten-minute walk to the main archaeological... We stayed at Apu Lodge for two nights. We truly loved it. The garden is beautiful, the staff is extremely helpful, the room is nice, it's very quiet...and they have HOT water in the showers, with amazing pressure. The reception desk helped us organize a mountain biking trek up to a local village, as well as rent a private car... More

I stayed at Apu Lodge in October 2015 as my last stop in the Sacred Valley before taking a day trip to Machu Picchu. We booked the lodge online and got great advice via email regarding local travel to MP, and other sight seeing options prior to leaving the U.S. I particularly liked the location of the lodge - i.e.... We stayed here on two separate occasions, two days before and one night after our trip to Machu Pichu and it was fantastic. We had rooms 21 and 22, both of which were on the top floor at the end of the corridor. That meant no noise at all until we were ready to get up. The hotel kept our... More

Stayed three nights at Apu Lodge (the perfect length of time) before visiting Machu Picchu and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is up a fairly long cobblestone footpath and if you have wheelie luggage you will need assistance with it. Fortunately, we traveled with backpacks so this was not an issue for us. I was very ill & weak with... More

Apu Lodge was a wonderful stay after coming off a five day trek to Machu Picchu - completely trustworthy and informative staff, seriously good food by a NY trained chef, good rooms at good value, and a wonderful location along the edge of an old inca city with a great garden. This place would be my base in Peru for... More

Stayed here with a friend the night before heading to Macchu Picchu last year. Our biggest regret while visiting Peru was not staying longer in Ollantaytambo and spending more nights in Apu Lodge! The Lodge itself is a hidden treasure tucked away at the end of the small alleyway from the main road. From the flowers and hammock to the... More
