This is a lovely little hotel near the train station in Ollataytambo. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and clean. The grounds are well cared for and a very relaxing place to sit and soak in the beauty of the days sights and sounds. There are only two floors and the hotel

Very relaxing setting with great views. Right outside the hotel gates is the hustle and bustle of traffic and noise. Step inside the gate and you're in a sanctuary. Don't miss walking the gardens and auberge behind Cafe Maya.

We were incredibly impressed by the hotel in Peru’s Sacred Valley. We were a party of 10 with five rooms and everyone was thrilled with this hotel. The setting could not have been more special and in particular the flowers and the grounds and the decor were really well thought

My wife kept saying what a cute hotel! We wish we had more time here and in the town. Everyone was so friendly and we loved how the square and the train station was within easy walking distance. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I

We had an organised tour from Australia (Bunniks) so we had a local guide. We spoke to lots of other people, some go on local tours, some hire local guides with transport. I'm sure the hotel would be able to do this for you (they all seem to have that service). If you include Machu Picchu in your stay you will need at least 3 days, 4 if you have the time, lots to see. We saw lots of adventure type tours that you can do - mountain climbing, mountain biking etc.

How far is the hotel from Machu Picchu? thank you
This hotel is about a five minute walk from the train station and as others have said the journey is then about 90 minutes. Once at Aguascalientes You then catch a 15 minute shuttle bus to Machu Picchu.
