Stayed here when we were leaving Machu Picchu on our way back to Cusco. Nice garden area in the courtyard. Lots of good fruit at breakfast. Nice room. Didn't get to enjoy most of the amenities as we spent the bulk of our time repacking. One interesting note is that this hotel is owned by a former Peruvian volleyball player....

It is hard to imagine that the Hotel Pakaritampu is not the number one property in Ollantaytambo. It's just so perfect, in so many ways. And, I've traveled all over Peru for over two decades and stayed at a number of hotels. This place is truly one of the best! From the moment you step off the busy Avenida Ferrocarril...

Stayed here for one night after missing our train to Machupicchu. Really picturesque property! Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well outfitted. Staff: friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast, and good location a stones throw from the train station.

Friendly staff and very cozy place. We had a great stay - the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful garden and is located in a very convenient location. We are highly recommending this place :)

Cannot believe that is a 3 star hotel - the rooms are spacious and have beautiful garden view, the garden itself it a multi-level park more likely, complete with an Alpaca that kept dashing around. The hotel is separated into smaller complexes or houses, each with 2-4 rooms per floor, giving it an elegant and relaxing vibe. We stayed in...

My husband and I stayed at Pakaritampu hotel for one night on our way to Machu Picchu. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable- they were extremely kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious with the most spectacular views. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We only wish we could...

This hotel is set in the most beautiful gardens with glorious flowering trees and shrubs and an abundance of colourful birds including humming birds. The bedroom was a reasonable size but the beds were not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a bath and was also a wet room with a very good shower, and a good chair...

This is an average place for the price. We ended up spending 700$ for 3 nights including stay, food, and shuttle. Plus points - 1) Location - few steps from Ollantaytambo train station to Machu Picchu 2) Very nice and scenic garden 3) Good breakfast Negatives - 1) extremely uncomfortable beds. We hardly slept the 3 days we were here,...
