Getting there
Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We originally booked a capsule, but due to an issue, they put us in a dome instead. We appreciated the transparency and communication about the problem beforehand. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, treating us to a delicious dinner on the house and still allowed us to do the via ferrata activity.
The room was a bit minimalist, but the views were amazing, and stargazing at night was unreal! We visited in mid-October, so the room was a bit cold in the evening, and we didn’t have hot water in the shower. The room did have a heater that kept us comfortable so we managed fine for our one-night stay.
We were primarily attended to by Giancarlo and Juan Carlo, but all of the staff were exceptional. They worked tirelessly, helping us up and down the mountain, carrying our luggage, and preparing our breakfast and dinner, always with a positive attitude. Juan Carlo led the via ferrata activity for us, which was a thrilling and unforgettable experience that included some rock climbing, a suspension bridge, and ziplining.
We really enjoyed our short stay at Vertical Sky, HUGE thanks to the hospitality of the staff!

Stayed two nights in this structure, inside the glass capsule placed higher up the mountain. Our glass dome can be reached on foot from the base structure where meals are eaten in about 7 minutes of climb, the others closer to the structure. Beautiful view of both the Veronica snowfield and the entire valley. Possibility of lunch and dinner for 30 $ per person, breakfast included. Menu with different choices of meat and fish, simple but authentic and tasty cuisine. One Carlos and Gian Carlo, the managers, very kind and extremely available to meet every need and to organize activities and excursions. Sleeping in the dome was an unforgettable experience. Recommended to everyone from the heart. Magnificent

Staying in the vertical sky Luxury Suites was a real de light, since we started walking up the mountain you can see a fantastic view of the surroundings and the view from the hotel restaurant called "Kuntur" is something indescribable, the dishes and drinks they delight you with their variety of unique flavors also with their excellent service. Without more to say, being in your room, which is a dome called INTI, is a Luxury experience! since you can enjoy every moment of a magnificent view ... a magnificent sunset and sunrise that transports you to another place. honestly, this journey was one of the best of my life as I enjoyed nature at its best and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

We stayed one night in one of the domed rooms. The place is ideal and the views spectacular but not worth what I paid for it.
The lousy breakfast, eggs with some bread and jam and little else... what we are paying for is to stay hungry, very bad. Also, the room did not have all the amenities and was in bad condition (shower and bathroom above all). The bed very comfortable, but there was no air conditioning: it was winter and we only had one heater to heat the room. The shower came out very little water and was not too hot. They didn't leave us a bottle of water on arrival.
The transfer from the city was very good and without waiting, at that very well. Extra activities are very expensive, 80 dollars per person....

We went by van from the center of Ollantaytambo for about 30 minutes, we stopped 300 meters before the hotel and we continued our walk on a very narrow road, from the pebbles with a quad bike to the reception of the hotel. (the adventure already begins there, for those who are afraid or high phobia do not indicate).
On arrival at the hotel reception we made the payment and quickly we were taken to the room. (we did not have a welcome drink, as it says on the website).
To reach the dome, you need to walk about 15 minutes to the designated dome. I was a little tired, because of the attitude and still carrying the backpack (this even you have to carry your belongings / backpack) the climbing was quiet, I ⁇ a lot.
Do not go with the expectation that you will climb, not all rooms need to be hot, so be careful if you want to live this experience (climb).
Dinner not included if you want and charged the part $30 USD per person (I did not use).
The rape and tyrolese tours are paid apart (I did not).
Breakfast in the morning included with some meal options, you choose one or the other (e.g. Juice or fruit salad, or coffee with milk...).
About the dome: What made me more dissatisfied was not being able to take advantage of the bathtub, at night it was cold and the water did not heat (more cold than hot water, summary I took a super fast bath in slightly warm water), The view is pretty, but you can not see much of the stars, because the glass is blurred or dirty outside, The cleaning is not very capricious, And visible that needs maintenance, There's no water to drink, No dressing (as it says on the site), There was no bathroom carpet, There's an electric kettle, and if you want to make tea you need to use tap water, Personal toiletries (shampoo, soap) are not of qualities (at it seemed that someone had already used) I did not use these products. The electricity oscillated a lot, the lighting and very weak, the lights diminished and flashed constantly can not use all the electric things at the same time (if you turn on the kettle, you have to turn off the light of the room, the heater),
There was no information on the capsule about Things to do in case of an emergency,
The only way to communicate with the staff and via WhatsApp that inside the room gets very bad.

The only positive point was nature. No electricity !!! The dome was very cold at night, no possibility of turning on the heating or charging the phones. The dinner and breakfast are catastrophic, there is no 5-course dinner as indicated in the comments, the dinner consists only of a small soup and a tasteless dish of very small quantity, the dessert is very null. The breakfast is tasteless with no quality products, the products used are purchased from supermarkets. Transportation to the dome is prohibitively expensive!

Booked this as amazing hotel for my 50th Birthday as a treat. From start to finish it was 5*. From being picked up in ollantaytambo. To them being taken by ATV to the restaurant/reception area. Stunning views across the sacred valley from here. We where them put in harnesses and taken to our “pod” by our guide Ronni, had to scale down some ladders. We then had time to chill and look at the amazing views from our pod and have a Jacuzzi !! In the pod. Ronni returned later to taken us to the restaurant where we had asked for the birthday package, we had 2 course dinner, bottle of bubbly, birthday cake and decorations. The day after we did the via ferrata, bridge and zip line experience, again with Ronni as our guide. The whole experience was something we will never forget. Book it - 5/5 and it’s a lot lot cheaper then the sky lodge

It was a beautiful once in a lifetime experience sleeping on a cliff. The capsule is accessible by foot, no need to climb a mountain for those that are scared of the climb. The short hike up to the capsule is a bit strenuous but well worth it. The capsule itself is very cozy, bed was comfortable and the hot tub is a wonderful addition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From before we arrived until we left they made sure we were taken care of. The next morning we had to catch our train to Machu Picchu, and had difficulty finding the luggage storage at the train station, Roney helped us out by keeping the luggage in his car and meeting us again later in the afternoon. Staying in the capsule was definitely a highlight of our Peru trip, we will highly recommend to our friends and family.

This is a once in a lifetime experience, not like staying at any other hotel you've ever been in. We call it five star glamping since you have most of the luxuries of a hotel and many of the advantages of camping without the inconvenience. The location is indescribable, sleeping at night under a clear geodesic dome and counting the stars, and waking up to the sun rising over the tip of Mount Veronica. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable, and even though they just recently open, and working out some bugs, they understand and are open to listening and working with you.
The resort is family owned and we truly felt like part of the family. The mountain has magical and mystical properties which both me and my girlfriend felt up there which brought us to tears and great emotions. If you were looking for a spiritual connection to a magical place, this is it

A dream place in the Sacred Valley to live a different experience sleeping at the top of the valley with spectacular views enjoying the sunset and sunrise like never before. Delicious breakfast and dinner. The attention of the staff was more than excellent and the owner, Edie, always made sure that everything was to our liking. A 100% recommended experience.
