We were placed there for one night because our normal hostel had an issue and our room was not ready. Location is good but I have too say that we found 2 giant cockroaches (about 5cm I think) in our bathroom (which had a kind of opening in the roof for aeration). The man at reception claimed it was a... More

We are staying in Olantaytambo for 3 nights and found this café our second day. We needed coffee and visited here. We ordered a cappuccino, another and another! Obviously, they were fantastic! So good that we went back the next day for more and also shared a banana pancake - it was also great! The cafe and hostal sits in... More

It's a cute little cafe tucked into the plaza. They have amazing service and there wifi is really good. All the items on the menu are made with care and you can tell that they put a lot of effort into making you good food. Their hot chocolate is the best thing on the menu and my girlfriend and I... We stumbled across this hostal late at night needing somewhere to stay and it didn't disappoint! We even had a motorbike that the owner let us store it over night in the hostal. Great size rooms, comfy beds and decent private bathrooms. Really good wifi connection and truly had hot water at anytime, bliss after hiking! Only reason not a... More

I stayed here the night before beginning the Inca Trail. This place was surprisingly excellent. Despite being a hostel, I had both a private room and a private bathroom. The Wifi was great, better than many hotels in the US in which I've stayed. The room was quiet, and even had a small TV in the corner (though I didn't... More

So grateful to have found this hostel. I had to come off the inca trail as I got really sick, when I checked in the lovely lady working here 'Loaiza' had a doctor come see me within 5 mins of arriving. They both took very good care of me and checked in on me every few hours. Once I was... More

Food was good, I got an omelet and toast with juice :) I wanted to add coffee, which came after my meal. Juice and food came out at the same time just about. It was good. Maybe she didn't have any help today being Sunday. I would probably try another day. I met a lovely friend tho. She kept me... More

This hostel is right on the square in Ollantaytambo. It is very clean and even though it was busy down below it got quiet reasonably early. The only reason I did t give it a 5 was breakfast is NOT included. All in all, a great place to hang your hat, don't forget it, and enjoy Peru at its finest.

Stopped here for dinner the night before heading to Machu Picchu. Food wasn't bad, had a big portion of chicken tacos and a cerveza. It was enjoyable for people watching and star gazing. No complaints re: food or service, although it wasn't all that remarkable.

We stopped there for drinks last week and had a blast. The views of the square from our outside table were fantastic. The service was also very quick and efficient. The drinks were awesome especially my new favorite; The Pisco Sour. This place is totally worth it to stop by for a few drinks especially since they have some free... More
