Travelled April 2014 - This was a lovely little hostal in Ollantaytambo. We stayed here on two separate occasions, firstly in their largest room with the private garden which it was lovely. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the deck chairs outside our room overlooking the ruins. The views were stunning. Our second room was small and...

Hostal Iskay was perfect for our first night in Peru. We arranged a ride from the airport with the hotel and the driver was waiting for us when we landed. The hotel is simple, clean, and very picturesque. Ollantaytambo is very easy to navigate on foot.

Great location within walking distance to everything you need. Our room had a view looking out on the Ollantaytambo ruins which was pretty cool. Very cool decor and we had a nice little patio next to our room to sit and look out on the ruins. We were walking distance to the train station and the folks at the front...

It's true, the view really is lovely. The garden is exceptionally pleasant and you really couldn't wish for a nicer spot to sip tea and watch the sunset. Many of the staff have very good English and are extremely helpful. You get the impression they are proud to work there, which is quite understandable given the lower general standards of...

Great view of the ruins from some parts of the Hostal. Good service at arrival and at breakfast. It is important to know that your car will not reach the door of the place so you might end up like us carrying your luggage up, and you might not be ready for it because of the high altitude. The facilities...

Located on a street with no cars but very close to the center of town, Hostal Iskay is perfectly located. The bonus is that it is directly across from the huge Ollantaytambo ruins which you see from the patio or your window! The staff was friendly and helpful and the accommodations were comfortable. The touch that I really loved was...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The plane orders views of the ruins on the mountains of Ollantaytambo. We stayed in room #5. The room and bathroom were small but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The view from the room was stunning. The ruins are an easy 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel. The city square...

Hostal Iskay is a very short 5 min walk from the Ollantaytambo ruins, in fact it is right across the river from the ruins. It is a beautifully manicured property and very reasonable for the price. Rooms are small, but the patio views are awesome. The property is beautifully curated with flowers & benches. It is also walking distance from...

A little hard to get your luggage up the hill through the narrow streets but worth the climb. Very economical and close to the center of town. Very small room but very clean. Good place to stay to tour the nearby ruins.

I would return to Peru just to stay here again. Room 7 is separate from other structures, quiet, spacious and very comfortable. If you leave the bathroom window open, the cat can visit when she wants. Breakfast was very good; fresh.
