Spent 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are average, the breakfast the same and so is the staff. What was really weird for me was when the receptionist asked us to be more careful with the towels because they had makeup on them... Makes me wonder how well they wash the towels and linens...
No sound isolation and it was loud. I specifically asked for a quiet room and got one on the 2nd floor (just above reception) in front of stairs and elevator. I could hear everyone walking downstairs, even people talking for hours near the reception at 1 am in the night. Shower was good and water hot - the only good thing about the room. The room was very basic with some broken electric sockets (making weird noises). It was a non-smoking place (room) but we smelt cigarette smoke coming from vents in the bathroom. Wi-fi was super slow and all my devices warned me about it being poorly secured (outdated). It was not dark in the room in the morning. Breakfast was good and we were not rushed. Staff was polite.
Our first impressions of this hotel were not great as we had one receptionist at the beginning that seemed to ignore us even though the issue was theirs to deal with, our first key card didn't work so we needed a new one which we waited for over 2 hours for even after inquiring about half an hour in and her saying it would be with us soon, this also happened with the WiFi and it was only when a different one of us went down did anything get done, the same receptionist also sent us to a non existent post office. After this encounter everything else was good the room had good heating, a TV with a lot of channels, shower with gels etc, and a comfy bed. The room had plenty of space to move around as well which was nice if you just wanted a morning in on a grey day and with a nice Patisserie across the road it made it even better. The breakfast was basic but was ample for our needs and locating the restaurant on the 8th floor gave you a lovely morning view even if the weather was not so great. This hotel was also ideally located for the Airport Express Bus stop as you could get dropped off/picked up less than 100m away on the roundabout but we did find that the distance was a bit further away than a lot of others in Miraflores but for a good price and low cost cabs it was fine.…
This is my second visit to this small hotel. The rooms are a bit small but clean. Good breakfast and fast wifi. Very close to the ocean and if you are in tolerable shape you can walk to the big mall by the ocean, Larcomar (about 30 minutes). Excellent bakery across the hotel is a good place to buy snacks or food as well as some groceries. You can request an airport taxi pick up which has proven very reliable and convenient. Reasonably prices for the location. Some restaurants like the excellent Chinese restaurant La Manzana are very close. Costumer service is very good and the staff deals with any issues very quickly. I would return.
A pleasant small hotel which is well managed and tuned in to its guests' needs. Over two stays they arranged taxis for us (new cars and careful drivers) several times, including meeting us at the airport and bus station. The young ladies at reception spoke English and were very warm and helpful. The restaurant stays open until 10, so we were able to have a nice meal despite a 9.30 arrival on one occasion. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Recommended.
Basic simple hotel in Lima which we used for an overnight stopover before touring the rest of Peru. Airport express bus stopped less than a minute away which was handy. Set just off a main street meant it was noisy at times. Decent packed breakfast box consisting of a sandwich, apple and a juice box as we were leaving prior to breakfast starting.
Hotel is rated 3 star, but I thought the rating was more like 2. Lots of traffic noise on the lower floors. Positives were that the hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast room was nice and airy and bright. Staff were very helpful. I would have enjoyed the stay more if expectations had been properly set.
The hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly. The room was smelly though. Three days and every day it was smelly, even with the window open. There was also no AC, so it was quite hot at night.
I stayed 2days. Everything was good. good facilities and good place, breakfast was delicious. But something smells in the room and unkind one of receptionist(working in the morning)are bad. If i go to lima again, not choice here
