The property has a beautiful central patio and the rooms are quite spacious and clean, with private bathroom, hairdryer and shower with hot water.
The staff was generally friendly, even if not exactly proactive: we asked for take away breakfast, notifying us the previous morning (we had to leave before 7 to go to the bus station) and we were told "it depends (?), we'll make you know". In the evening, we asked if it would then be possible, but the answer was that they didn't have bread and were unable to organize to make two sandwiches. We therefore encountered a bit of disorganization, as our request in the morning fell on deaf ears.
The biggest problem of the structure, however, remains that of the complete lack of soundproofing of the rooms. On Saturday night we practically didn't sleep due to the noise coming from outside and the comings and goings of the other guests.

Room was very basic, breakfast room uncozy. We had to leave before 7 o'clock the next morning towards the bus station. Breakfast was quickly a sip of coffee and some extra because breakfast is only possible from 7 am. Actually our least good hotel in Peru
The building and the room got a bit cold which is quite normal in November but maybe some extra blankets would be useful.
No water when we arrived back later that evening and no water when we left very early the following morning. We asked for bottled water so we could wash and this was declined. Unacceptable.
The hotel itself is very noisy and you can hear every word other guests say as they arrive and leave. The room was clean and tidy which is the only positive and the reason for a 2* review.
I'm still trying to resolve the water issue now but Casa Suyay have steadfastly ignored Booking.Com for many weeks. Really poor service.
I am a regular visitor to Lima and regrettably could not recommend this hotel.
We were given a room at the back of the hotel. The room was fine, nothing special but ok, but we were next to a nightclub, we could literally hear the lyrics of the songs and it didn’t stop until 4am!
Breakfast was a brioche type roll and cold coffee and the gentleman on reception in the morning was
v unhelpful.
Did we ask to move rooms? No because we were knackered and couldn’t hear the thought of having to
Move. That’s why I haven’t given a one or two as unfair when they didn’t have the chance to rectify but honestly give this place a miss and stay at one of the hundreds of other places in Lima!

Its not a luxury hotel with AC and fancy stuff.
On the other hand, AC is not needed in Lima, and the hotel offers a lot of nice eye candy in the common areas.
Breakfast is included and is simple but good. I can recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who wants excellent value!
Regrettably the noise at night (2 -4am) is extreme and not managed by hotel staff.
Been in South America for six weeks and this was worst breakfast we had. Preferred to eat out and pay the extra for better food.
