Detailed Reviews
We stayed a total of 4 days in this hotel (2 days each in in the beginning and the end of our trip to Peru). We really liked the hotel and it's location. We had 4 in our party (me, my wife, and our 2 boys - 17 and 21) and so, having 3 double beds in the
room really worked out for us.
People at the front desk were super helpful (special thanks to Claudia for giving us the tips on the local restaurants...we loved the MANGOS restaurant in the Malecon area).
All in all, we had a great experience in this hotel. On the 2nd round, they gave us a room on the 6th floor which allowed us to see the fireworks on Dec 31. The location is great and close to all the amenities. In fact, we had an issue with our return air ticket from Lima to Los Angeles, but, both the American Airlines and the Latam Airlines offices are in walking distance from this hotel which made it very easy for us to fix our problem with these airlines in short time.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2019.
The location was an easy walking distance to the main area where all the shops and restaurants were, which was great for the end of our trip when we wanted to just relax and do all our last minute shopping before going home.
The room was nice and the service was brilliant. Brekkie was yummy in the mornings as well.
The staff helped us organise a personalised taxi service to the water fountains in the evening, which was safe and convenient. We were able to pre organise pick up and drop off times for other things we wanted to do as well get to the airport easily.

When we walked in, staff came right away and carried our bags to our room. The room was nice, big and clean. The included breakfast was good. The pool was very small, but the overall stay was a value for your money (we booked through Expedia).

The hotel building itself is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are spacious, equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a safe, and a shower, making it very convenient, inexpensive, and very good. The breakfast selection is not very extensive, but considering the price, I think it's passable. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars around the hotel, and the area is very safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people who are concerned about oldness, but personally I would recommend it as it is inexpensive.

Faraona Grand is centrally located and very walkable but other than the location there isn’t much going for it. The front desk staff is not very friendly and the hotel only offers the bare minimum in terms of amenities. It’s a low cost hotel so that’s okay but the biggest issue we had when we stayed here was noise. They put us in a room with windows facing the street and we heard music from a nightclub until 5am. If you’re not planning to sleep then this hotel is fine. But, we were traveling with a toddler flying to Cusco the next day and had a horrible night. It’s worth paying extra to stay somewhere else. Also note that everything comes with an extra charge.

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The restaurant is excellent. One highlight was that on one night a music professor from the University of Lima played piano in the dining room--absolutely beautiful classical music. There's a wonderful quiet and scenic outdoor patio on the top floor. All of the staff are extremely helpful and gave us great advice and ideas for restaurants and places to go i the city.

The hotel has an excellent location in a safe neighborhood of Miraflores, walking distant to Parque Kennedy, mercado Indio, Larco Mar, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good, a bit of everything and fresh papaya fruit for breakfast!!! We also had lunch and dinner there. Most restaurants are very busy and it is a long wait however he hotel's restaurant was much faster and convenient. Rooms were clean. Maybe hair conditioner would be nice if they add it. Highly recommended.

Asked to fix the hair dryer twice but never done, My flight was at mid night and per tripmasters way to make it just 2 nights, I request to check out in the morning to void that days cost because I was not goind to spend that night due to my flight but denied and charged for the night without staying. Tried to talk to the manager but he was busy than the president and never gave us tome to listen. Langauge was the big issue there. front desk has no english speaking peorson at all. No idea whether Mr. Paul is the manager or someone else but when talking about staing 2 nights not 3 but he ignore and just say no no no for any thing you try to say, wont lister but just turn his head to no.If you dont speak local langauge, and want to be in as it is condition (no demand to fix )dont go to this hotel. Ofcourse It looks very nice but the manager? (Paul) is the most erogant person who does not have customer value and dont want to listin (resion)but just to refuse.

Response from Hade Peña, Ventas at Faraona Grand Hotel
Responded Jul 5, 2023
Dear Mr Shyan Rupakhette, I would like to apologize for any misunderstandings that we may have occurred during your stay at our hotel. We would like to clarify some important points. Firstly, we would like to mention that we have checked your reservation details and noticed that you booked by an online travel agency. According to our records, during check-in, we informed you that any inquiries or complaints regarding your reservation should be directly with your travel agency, as they were responsible for booking your stay from June 19th to June 22nd, for a total of three nights. Additionally, our check-out time is at 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, we noticed that you checked out at 7:46 PM, which is after 6:00 PM. In the hotel industry, this timeframe is considered an additional night. Therefore, your travel agency booked your room for three nights, assuming that you would enjoy the hotel amenities until your departure to the airport. We understand that this may have caused confusion, and we apologize for not providing a clearer explanation at that time. We would like to reiterate our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay with us. We hope that on your next visit to Lima, you will be able to book directly with us, without intermediaries, so that we can ensure that all details are understood correctly and get a solution to any issues promptly. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services and provide a better experience for our guests. If there is anything else we can assist you with or if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel and provide you with an exceptional stay. Sincerely, Gerente de Ventas

We were a party of 6 and each one of us have the same feeling of satisfation because in the Faraona we were pampered and treated as family. This hotel is located in a very nice street, full of little bars and restaurants and one square from the Kennedy Park in Miraflores. Walking distance!!!!! where the good restaurants and the vibrant environment of the city takes place. We all had a wonderful time in the Faraona and recommend it, the rooms very clean as well and the bathrooms and the breakfast was very nice. The people at the desk are the nicest ever. Every unit of the personnel was nice and trying to give us the best experience in Lima. I will come back!!!!!

This is the third or fourth time my family and I have stayed at the Faraona Grand Hotel, and it’s always been a great experience. The rooms are clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Breakfast is included, and the team there takes excellent care of guests, especially Andrés Arana, who was consistently attentive to everyone. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, within walking distance of Parque Kennedy and many restaurants, bars, and shops.
