We arrived very late at night and we appreciated the staff getting us checked in quickly. We were also given a welcome postcard and a little pouch with some masks and alcohol, which was very sweet. However, I had requested two separate beds online and when we arrived to the room, there was only one king. The staff separated it for us, but it took a good 30 minutes to do so. The artwork in the hotel is absolutely lovely and I enjoyed looking at the pieces. Breakfast was included and the food was delicious, but the service was extremely slow. I understand that many people simply come to the rooftop restaurant for brunch, but we were travelers with an itinerary, so it was a bit inconvenient to wait that long for some food before heading out the door. All in all, we liked the hotel.

Beautiful drinks. Good breakfast. I thank Maria at reception, she is great, helpful, super efficient, she helped me find an alternative taxi during a critical moment. Everything nice, but it takes FOREVER to get a meal service, especially during breakfasts. Today, at breakfast time, the waiter didn't offer the juice option. Since it was already late and i wouldn't wait another 30 minutes for a juice, I asked him to please bring it to the room. It never arrived. I left, did errands, came back at 1 pm, no news about the juice. I reminded one member of the staff, nothing, i went to the patio restaurant, asked for it feeling a lunatic, and finally at almost 1 : 45 pm i got my impossible infinite pineapple juice. In a few days, my husband will check in, i wonder what new B adventures we will experience. I will ask him to act like the Marx Brothers, if they treat us badly, let's treat them exaggeratedly ultra super nice?.

I had stayed at the hotel before and used the bar and restaurant around 4-5 years ago. This time I decided to try the roof terrace which must be a new addition and what a fantastic addition that is. My wife and I sat and watched a beautiful sunset sipping a nice cocktail. When the sun went and it got a little chilly there were lovely alpaca blankets to keep us warm. We were going to eat downstairs but as the hotel wS almost completely empty decided to stay on the roof. The food was excellent I cannot think of anyway to could be improved. I had an octopus starter which was the best cooked octopus I have ever eaten. All our courses including the chocolate desert were top class. Congratulations Chef and team. It’s a shame to see what was once a cool buzzing bar and hotel so empty and so lose a bit of atmosphere :( The drinks service at first was a little slow, there were only 10 people on the roof. There was also the construction of a new bar going on, until 7.30pm! It was a little noisy. I hope to return to use the roof again. And as always the art everywhere is fantastic.

Dear Matt, Nothing makes us happier than to see our guests return to Hotel B after many years. Unfortunately, due to government restrictions, we are unable to host large gatherings and maintain a limited forum per area. Nevertheless, we love that you enjoyed the food and will pass on your compliments to the chef. You will also be happy to learn that we have just finished all renovations at our Rooftop, giving more open spaces for our guests to enjoy the new bar and breathtaking sunsets over the sunset. We hope to welcome you very soon again. Sincerely, Maria Jose Gueudet Hotel Manager

Spend one night here for my anniversary. Room was splendid....the hotel was made inside an old historic building totally renew with lots of details, sophisticated art, wooden floors, art hanging on every wall. We received a bottle of champagne and a platter with cheeses and fruit. Food on their restaurant was delicious, served magically! Really surprised with this hotel....high expectations and really not disappointed!

This is a gorgeous hotel in Lima’s charming Barranco district that should really be 4 stars but charges as a 5+ one. The property is very nice but it felt (even during COVID!) like the rooms were an attachment to a series of bars and restaurants, which means the place is extremely noisy (I was woken up at 6am by wedding photographers setting up for a session). Overpriced as it is (the food is ok) and with rooms that are tiny, the house is lovely and the neighbourhood gorgeous and the staff incredibly nice (and probably exploited given they have to cater for both the guests and the public spaces) but next time I’ll stay somewhere else.

Dear Prossello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on your experience while staying at Hotel B, Relais & Châteaux.
