The hotel is situated in quite a calm area but a short walk from restaurants, bars, shopping. It is a very charming hotel. Behind the locked gate is a very pretty front garden and the beautiful old mansion. The bar and the common area is a lovely series of small and not so small rooms, all nicely decorated and with cosy sitting areas. We had a room in the modern part in the back, towards a courtyard (no view). The room was very large and comfortable. Water was provided and the carafe could be refilled from bid glass jars in the corridor. The breakfast buffet was fairly good. My only complaint would be the young lady who checked us in and snottily told me to "remember till next time" that the check-in hour was not until X o'clock. I had in no way expected or demanded that we should have access to the room when we arrived at 1 PM straight from the airport; my expectation was to leave the luggage in the reception and go out for a while. I highly recommend this hotel and I will gladly stay here again (but if I happen to arrive with an early flight I don't intend to hang out at the airport until check-in time).

ue to the COVID-19 virus, on March 15th 2020 Peru closed its borders and declared a state of emergency putting the entire country on lockdown. I was stuck in Peru for 5 days until I could find a way out. I stayed at the Hotel Antigua Miraflores along with 10-15 other stranded travellers and they staff went above and beyond in every way. From making sure there were delicious meals, to ensuring we were entertained by arranging for movie nights or teaching us how to make drinks, they stepped up. They made this place feel like a safe haven during a very trying and stressful time. I cannot overstate how amazing the people were. They treated me like family and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

My husband and I, along with 9 others in a Gadventures tour group spent 6 days isolated here after the President declared the country was in a state of emergency. We were relocated to the hotel after our trip abruptly ended near Cusco. We arrived late at night where we were warmly greeted, and directed to our rooms. The eleven member staff, who were “living” at the hotel during this time worked tirelessly every day covering more than one position to meet all of their guests needs. We felt like we were part of one big family, as we got to know everyone staying at this beautiful little boutique hotel. We especially liked that there sitting areas inside and outside, plus a rooftop terrace so we didn’t feel so confined. Every question or request was dealt with with a smile. During a very stressful time, we felt safe and cared for. I cannot give the hotel and its staff enough praise!!

This was one of my favourite hotels I stayed in in South America. The room was very clean and, there was a big breakfast buffet and the hotel was within easy walking distance to the main road in miraflores as well as the sea side.

The room was somewhat small but the property and workers were excellent. Very clean and lovely hotel. The bar was fun with a very good bartender - Johnny who was personable and provided a lot of helpful information about the area. There was a lovely courtyard area our room looked out on - well maintained and pretty. The restaurant had excellent food.
