Stayed here for business trip and exhibition held in the hotel's convention room. My room was great, overlooking the olive grove and the service to room, guest needs and reception. were good. No problems with the exhibition set up and arrangements and the convention room has a separate street entrance which was useful. Free business centre and wifi to rooms....

This hotel and it's crew enhance a lot your stay in Lima! Very friendly crew, everytime that I arrived in the hotel they welcomed me with my last name and they were very friendly and helpful. You can also use their taxi service by charging the your hotel room but beware that they charge in dollars, not in Nuevo Soles...

I stayed at the Sonesta for business, for a whole week. Most comments you will find here are correct: the building is nice, the park is superb, there are a few nice restaurants around. But what defines a hotel is not the building or its location, but its levels of service, and here, the Sonesta is below standards, and has...

We loved our stay at the Sonesta El Olivar. It's across the street from a beautiful park with lots of kids and dogs playing and historic Olive trees. The hotel welcomed us with a delicious fruit smoothie which was very nice. Breakfast was included in our rate and was also great. The room was spacious and included an electronic safe...

we were only there a few hours - just to sleep really. But I slept great in their very comfortable beds. I was surprised at how nice the rooms were - updated with flat screen tv's plush white linens, a dock w/ speakers for your ipod/mp3 player, even a bidet in the bathroom. I'd definitely stay there again. It was...

I am a business traveler and this hotel was so important and beautiful. The service is good but the room was disgusting. The humidity smell was unbearable. It's not a 5 star hotel! I will never come back to this hotel.

Spent just one brief night here (late flight from US, and early departure next morning), so can't attest to more than cursory review. Good, albeit dark, room, well appointed; terrific breakfast; attentive and helpful staff. Not what one would call a major 5-star property, but quite good.

I went with some friends last February. It is like a boutique hotel, nice location, not bad rate, but I will add to it something more to be a 5star hotel like a bigger menu service after 11pm, not only sandwiches or a bar opened at night/restaurant.
