This hotel is ok but nothing more. It is clean and the rooms have aircondition. The location is good and you can easily walk around to shops and restaurants. Be aware that they charge in us dollars and not soles for everything in the minibar and also for laundry. We experienced that the hotel called a taxi for us and...

Our room was clean, air conditioned, and comfortable, albeit small. Our tour included a free pisco sour at the restaurant, which was also very good. The breakfast was sparse, but sufficient. Would recommend. (Also, there's a bottle opener attached to the wall in the bathroom, which I find hilarious!)

The staff was super friendly and nice. Rooms were clean but bare comfort (no extra pillows, small soap, little shampoo and conditioner, no blow dryer). The food was rather bad. We had breakfast and they fixed boxed lunches for us. Really good ice cream shop next door. It's in Miraflores but a good walk from main avenue.

Even though it's a busy street, they asigned me a room with a street view and I could not hear a car or pedestrian noise. Very clean bathroom, nice beds and pillows. Highly recommend for the senior, business or solo traveler. Buffet breakfast was a delight.

These guys price themselves well. The place is not a five star but they don't price themselves that way either. Desk and bell staff were very friendly, helpful with suggestions and additional travel planning, and spoke more than sufficient english. Shower was definitely not hot but pressure was good. Family suite meant 3 single beds. They accommodated our early departure...

This hotel exceeded our expectations from the day we arrived in Lima. We had a peaceful stay and very convenient to almost everywhere we visited in Miraflores area. It's a stone-throw away from the shopping district. You can actually just walk to Larcomar Shopping Center. We appreciated it a lot, in fact, that we booked here again when we came...

Hotel Carmel is in the Miraflores District and therefore allowed us easy access to restaurants and shopping. We stayed here twice sandwiched around a visit to Machu Picchu and Cusco. The staff was friendly and very helpful- a big thank you to Hanna for assisting with connections and a credit card issue. Breakfasts were provided and while they had variety...

I was very impressed by the outstanding courteous service received at the Carmel hotel. Pilar had taken care of our reservations online and warmly greeted us at our arrival. I can't recall anyone at any hotel extending such greetings. Centrally located , very clean and very well priced. Car service arranged for us was professional, courteous and the large spotless...

We stayed here only one night, booked in by our OAT tour. The rooms were very comfortable and the food delicious. And we were only about a 10 minute walk from the main drag in Miraflores where we were able to get the Mirabus -- a 3hour city tour well worth the money. The hotel was across the street from...
