I have stayed several times in Vista del Sol over the last 4 years, always very reasonable. Rooms & bathroom are decent sized and clean, beds are OK and for colder times, sufficient blankets are provided. During warmer season, you get a fan to maintain certain freshness- but it can be hot. Breakfast is average, somewhat simple and no big... More

I stayed here between flights during my trip to Iquitos... Was greeted warmly at Jorge Chavez airport by the shuttle driver (arranged easily via email) and the hotel is well appointed for the price. Breakfast was tasty and the WiFi was reliable. The Metro grocery store is within walking distance and is comparable to grocery stores in the US. My... More

My husband and I first stayed at this hotel (for one night) in November 2015. We stayed there another time (for one night) this month, April 2016. I wrote a positive review after the first visit, and am pleased to write this second, positive review. I do want to note, after looking at some other reviews of the hotel in... More

The Hotel in its entirety isn't a bad hotel with a great price but it was hard to concentrate on anything else when it's 85 outside with 90% humidity and NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Also be sure to brush up on your Spanish, the desk clerk doesn't speak English. The prices are listed on the wall so thankfully you don't have to... More

Phoned this hotel with a Peru visitor representative at LIM. We asked the price for one night. The reservationist stated that he spoke English. He gave the price in Spanish and English and was the same. Different, higher price when I took a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel. He was behind a thick, probably bullet proof glass. He... More

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel in November. Considering the area, which is working class/poor, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel room. It was roomy, clean and modern with a comfortable bed and pillows, large tv, lovely and large bathroom. For a "matrimonial queen" bed (which was really more like a larger double bed American-style)... More

Poor check in: the receptionist is behind a bullet proof glass. Poor room: you will hear all the airplanes landing into Lima. Poor breakfast: waiters in extremely dirty clothes help you with extremely poor quality breakfast.

this small hotel was very clean and completely fine for the two nights I stayed there while I waited for the redt of my group to fly in. The staff were amazing and organized a private driver for me while I was in Lima and took great care of me. They offered a good free breakfast in the morning.

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and close to the airport. It was only $55/night, and since we were going to be there for less than 8 hours it seemed like a waste to spend more money on a higher-end place. The hotel was extremely responsive in emailing me back every time I got in touch with them... More

Having missed our flight due to late arrival, Peruvian Airlines put us up at this hotel, which is only about ten minutes from the Lima airport. The temperature was 15C (about 59F) and there was no heat in the room during winter in SA. When asked about heat, the staff pointed to a blanket (and brought a second one). The... More
