This B & B deserves all the top ratings it regularly earns. When Peru opens up for business again ... this is where we recommend you stay ... However, if there was a 10 out of 5 rating for 'above and beyond' ... it would earn that, too. We stayed here from March 6 - 9 prior to joining a tour and before the national emergency. When the national emergency was declared on March 15th, we were in the mountains and we scrambled to book flights and accommodation inLima. That was just the beginning of an amazing 16 days where 9 or our original group of 11 ; as well as 6 other travelers from assorted countries were sheltered at Casa Wayra. Mr Hermosa was calm and reassuring; yet very conscientious about what was required to keep us, his family and his staff safe and healthy. We were given access to the kitchen so we could prepare meals, also allowed use of all the fridges and supplies (including food, TP, soap, washing machine). We did shop for groceries, but kept our trips to a minimum as required as he was understandably worried about his staff and guests. He kept us informed about developments; walked over an hour to check in with us every day - always asking if we needed anything. Mr Hermosa and his staff were our angels during a time of uncertainty and fear and we will be forever grateful for his compassionate and generous decision to stay open.…

Modest calm clean place with out pretensions. Family run and very supportive. Green space garden is nice and attracts birds to sing to you morn and evening. Safe area easy walking to shopping, restaurants and the bluffs overlooking the beach.
Stayed here for 4 nights and was very happy with our choice. Great location - only 10 minute walk from the centre of Miraflores and on a quiet street. Room was decent size with comfortable bed and all the basics. Breakfast was simple but very tasty with eggs, fresh bread, juice and jams. Staff very helpful. Given this is a B&B, the rooms are different shapes and sizes so check what is available.
We stayed one night here upon arrival in Lima. It was in a quiet, safe location (important in Lima) and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plenty of food plus tea or coffee. The people working there were fluent in English plus other languages that they spoke with other guests.
