I stayed in three different places in Lima. Dimar Inn was the cheapest and best. No air con in my room but it was winter. No shampoo but it's not a hotel. The hosts are warm and helpful. The room was as good as the others except it wasn't over priced life the others.

One week stay in Lima. No problem at late arrival (past midnight), while the doors are locked, you ring the bell and the night guy was very attentive rushing us to our rooms. No workable elevator, third floor, a bit challenging with all luggage. The rooms are tiny, a bed, two night desks, a wardrobe and that's it - some... More

PROS: - You're close to - MiraFlores Centre, restaurants/bars/theaters/banks, the Metropolitan Bus can take you straight to the historical Centre from Ricardo Palma Station (couple blocks from the Inn), and it's in one of the safest areas. The coast is in MiraFlores (your district of residence) and about a 20 minute walk away, which isn't far in terms of how... More

I needed a place to stay in Miraflores for one night and didn't want to spend a ton. The hotel has a great location near the Inka Markets and Kennedy Park. Carlos was great. I arrived very early (7:30 a.m.) after an overnight bus trip and he suggested getting a cup of coffee while they cleaned the room. The room... More

My husband had stayed here last March - and it was adequate for him (spanish speaker). So I booked it for my son and his wife - first time to Peru. Big mistake. They speak no spanish and no one there speaks any english. No one was able to advise/assist them in getting around doing tourist things. But the biggest... More

Clean, friendly staff and outstanding services. I attended a reunion with members of a high school, graduated in 1957, to celebrate the visit of friends who came from the United States. It was an emotional gathering and we had a good time.

I was with a large group of people and every single one of our needs were met. The people of the hotel are friendly and actually care about their guests. The owner Carlos, is a hard worker and really seeks the best for his guests. You feel at home here and welcome. The employees are honest. It was an overall... More

Our mission team likes to stay in Mirafloris on our way back to the airport. This hotel is a perfect location for us. The hotel is typical Peruvian and well managed. Carlos, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. We even enjoyed the singing in the evening. The construction mentioned in other comments is paused. We did not hear it.... More

We booked this hotel online and when we arrived (day before new years eve) it was locked and the side was boarded up. We knocked and someone opened the door. We were confused and concerned but saw little option given the timing of our stay, the hotel was still operational we were told. We were shown to our room amongst... More
