I have stayed at the hotel 10 years before my last visit and it was so good that i decided to stay one more time , so i made reservations for July 2019 and and i was so disappointed , it was not was i expected , but more disappointing was the breakfast , which i only eat the first morning out of my two week stay.I think they should not serve breakfast at all. the only thing decent was the reception desk.

This was my third visit to Lima as I have family in the city. I have always enjoyed my stay at the BayView. It is clean, comfortable, friendly and courteous staff. Very Good buffet b’fast my father enjoys this as he is an early riser. Excellent location close to shopping at LarcoMar & Avenida Larco for all other needs and great restaurants. The staff are very helpful and courteous especially Bronson floor staff and Front Desk woman named Mailan. The both were very helpful.

Hotel have two buildings. Front building is an old house, back building is the renovated part. We found this on internet and for the price looks fine. In the front building we were located, no elevator at this building, need to use old wood stairs, is old fashion architecture: wood floor looks old, inside bedroom old fashion too. No A/C at this part, hot water is delivery to the shower after a few minutes of open the water line. All decoration are really old fashion, not comparison with the average American hotel standards...

We arrived by 2130H at Lima airport and had requested during booking for an airport pickup which I later reminded again. On the day arrival, I sent an email reminding my pick up again before getting on my flight from Arequipa. Waited almost an hour at Lima airport before throwing in the towel n hiring a taxi by myself. We were quite worried after reading all the horror stories that could happen taking a taxi from Lima airport. Explained to the staff working that night at the hotel (sorry I cannot remember your name). She was sympathetic, offered a drink and even offered a free taxi back to airport if we required. We declined as we had plans with a tour the following day. Other than that, the staff were very pleasant, the room was fairly clean, a bit too cosy for all 3 of us, the bathroom had hot showers. We spent probably 7 hours in total in the hotel just to sleep and left for our tour after checking out.
