This was a great hotel. First off, keep in mind that you're in Peru, which is an emerging market (i.e., third world) country, so things are drastically different than anything you'd expect in, say, the United States. That said, for what you get in Iquitos, this is a very, very good hotel. It's spacious, has a kitchenette, AC, hot water,...

I was only here for one night but this will be the hotel I will stay at if I'm ever back in Iquitos. I stayed at a comparable hotel and Nativa Apartments had it beat in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and I would echo everyone else in saying that Monica's hospitality gave it a cut above the rest. The room...

We were only in Iquitos for one night but this is everything we needed. The host was lovely and spoke English fluently. Good location close to the river and square. It's not flash but it is tidy and air conditioned.

We stayed here for three nights while we explored in and around Iquitos, and were happy with both the rooms that we were given. They were large and well air conditioned, with washing and basic cooking facilities. The family who own the place are tremendously kind and helpful and the apartments are well situated, about 10 minutes walk from the...

Monica, the owner, and her staff are friendly, completely helpful and are going out of their way to make your stay in Iquitos perfect and easy. If you need anything somebody will help or guide you along. I really appreciated the offer to leave important documents with Monica while spending a week in the rain forest. On my 2nd to...

I chose Nativa because even by email before the trip Monica was so extremely helpful and going out of her way to help me with what I needed in Iquitos. Unfortunately she was not there when we stayed, but her sister took care of us very well. She was so nice and helped us with all kinds of arrangements we...

Coming from my trek to Machu Pichu, I badly needed a place to rest and relax. Peaceful and calm. And Nativa is just the right place to settle in. For an english speaker, Monica the owner will offer the best advice to go explore the amazonas, try different food joints, walk through the various streets, and also give you company...

We were very pleased with the accomodations and the helpful owner and staff. They helped us out by letting us leave our luggage while we took a river cruise and made sure that we had cabs to take and pick us up from the airport. They also helped us with finding food and drinks. Thanks!

What a beautiful hotel. Monica, Carlos and Juana were a piece of repose in the jungle. Their apartments are warm, welcoming and clean. There was always someone to meet us at the door with a friendly smile. The apartments themselves are not fancy, but they are clean and have everything that you need. There's always someone available to give you...

Convenient location near city center, clean and large rooms with some cooking capabilities. Monica, the owner, was very nice and helpful and spoke English which was very useful since we don't speak much Spanish. Only drawback and reason for 4 stars is the bed in our room was only a double, tough for us since we're used to a larger...
