Remember that this was a monastery and so you can imagine a life of quietness, discipline and simplicity - the entire place and the rooms exude this feeling for me. I don't mind rooms without windows or small openings for lighting only but if you do than its not for you. So much calm and serenity with cathedral chanting (not...

We stayed for 3 nights before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and it's in a great location, close to the main square in Cusco. The service was excellent, stuff very polite, friendly and helpful, they store our luggage for us while we were away in Aguas Caliente. They have plenty of coca tea in the reception lobby and...

We spent a total of 4 nights at the hotel, 3 before our trip to Aguas Calientes, and one night after. They graciously held our larger luggage for us while we were away. Delightful place to stay - it is unique as it seems to have been converted from an old monastery to a modern hotel, thus each room is...

We stayed one night in a room that was small but had a lovely view on the garden and overlooking the breakfast room. We traveled in a group and after that one night we came back for 2 nights after our trip to the Sacred Valley. For the last 2 nighs we had another room that was smaller than the...

Hotel is located in front of San Pedro market, very close to city center. Located inside monastery complex, with very nice gardens and interesting environment. Quite and fantastic place for the rest. Good location to know city which is not just for tourists. Every day have some local events and ceremonies in front of the church and hotel. Spent 3...

I have only spent one night so far at the Monasterio but the hotel is lovely and the service superb. The breakfast buffet is amazing and I have been lucky enough to have a great wait staff, Wilbert Soncco, attend to my every need. We are off to a great start.

This hotel, "converted" from the adjacent monastery, is in a central location in this large (pop. 450,000) city. It is directly across the street from the mercado central. The market offers any foodstuff or soft good any tourist could want. The hotel's staff is its principal asset. They are polite, genuinely friendly, and helpful. The hotel's physical condition is wanting....

This is a great boutique hotel just a few blocks from the central square of Cusco. Front desk staff are always friendly, smiling and helpful. Rooms are basic but spread out across a huge connected group of small buildings. The bed was very comfortable with great blankets to keep you warm at night when the temperature drops. My room didn't...

The hotel was located just across the road from the San Pedro Market. The location was our saving grace due to a very affordable supermarket located about a 3 minute walk away. We chose this hotel because of proximity to the railway station (which was closed for the wet season) and were impressed with very helpful staff and the location of rooms which were set well back from the street, thus escaping traffic noise. The converted monastic rooms although small were very clean and suited our short-term stay. The only drawback was...
