This hotel, "converted" from the adjacent monastery, is in a central location in this large (pop. 450,000) city. It is directly across the street from the mercado central. The market offers any foodstuff or soft good any tourist could want. The hotel's staff is its principal asset. They are polite, genuinely friendly, and helpful. The hotel's physical condition is wanting.... More

This is a great boutique hotel just a few blocks from the central square of Cusco. Front desk staff are always friendly, smiling and helpful. Rooms are basic but spread out across a huge connected group of small buildings. The bed was very comfortable with great blankets to keep you warm at night when the temperature drops. My room didn't... More

The hotel was located just across the road from the San Pedro Market. The location was our saving grace due to a very affordable supermarket located about a 3 minute walk away. The greeting was warm and the staff all spoke English. The property appeared to have been a converted monastery. Just walking to the room gave us a blast... More

We chose this hotel because of proximity to the railway station (which was closed for the wet season) and were impressed with very helpful staff and the location of rooms which were set well back from the street, thus escaping traffic noise. The converted monastic rooms although small were very clean and suited our short-term stay. The only drawback was... More

Very nice hotel situated in cusco center. The rooms are very nice and clean, the shower is very correct. What is amazing here is the silence you can enjoy where cusco is a bit noisy sometimes. The gardens are lovely and the food is very tasty

The profits from this converted monastery fund an orphanage housed at the back. It's location was off the beaten tourist track, but right across from the oldest and biggest market in town. The building is far from glamorous, but is quite clean and the courtyard provided excellent refuge. The rooms were of adequate size, the bed was quite good and... More

I write books for a living and it would be easy to write a novel about the problems with this hotel - but it's easier to first deal with the few things they got right. The Good 1. We paid $10.00 for a taxi from the airport - it never showed up and when we called the hotel they just... More

Rooms are clean and well equiped and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is vibrant with San Pedro market in front of this huge and beautiful monastery with 3 gardens to relax. They support several good causes like a childrens project in the back of the building so your money is very well spent.

Great social responsibility: Some of the money goes to an orphanage. Nice rooms but not great value for your money. Low quality breakfast. Good, reliable internet connection.
