Amazing find. Hotel doesn’t appear to be much from the street, but step through the front doors and discover a awesome boutique hotel with 6, yes 6, wonderful little restaurants and bar. Staff is friendly and helpful, and location is Perfect for short walks to local attractions and shopping.
Great location, nice staff and pretty decent sleep quality (bedding, etc.) but it sure was a noisy place. Granted it's in the heart of the city but due to the ceramic tile floors it magnified sounds. It was nice to have the patio food and beverage service right there. Perhaps if I was younger and more active I would have enjoyed it more.
The staff here are very helpful. The rooms were spacious, beds were semi comfy with lots of covers and pillows. The only heating was a ceramic heater on the wall which took a while to heat up but was adequate. No heat in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like sewer. It was bad. We kept the small window open but spent as little time in there as possible. Noise could be heard from other rooms and music from the various downstairs restaurants was pretty loud. Breakfast was pretty good. There was used soap from the last guest in the shower.
This was one if the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. Hot water only from 6 To 9am and never any in the sink! The rooms are not insulated or heated and we were freezing the entire 4 day stay. Live music is played every night in the courtyard and it is impossible to sleep. Saturday night it went on til 12 am and we had to get up at 4am! I'm being generous in rating 1 star. I don't know how it can be rated a 3. We have stayed in hotels, motels and B and B's all over the world, and this was the worst experience ever! The only good thing I can say is that the staff were very nice.
The place is gorgeous. A renewed classic cusquenian house, with beautiful views, balconies. Well located. Friendly staff, they took care of me when I felt a bit ill. Rooms a cozy, bathrooms are in great shape. Highly recommended
I spent 12 days quarantined in this hotel. I consider myself and the rest of my group lucky to have found ourselves at the Inkarri. The manager, Dominick, went out of his way to be helpful. His staff were a credit to him, they were excellent. Contrary to another post the breakfasts were excellent and definitely vegetarian orientated. The rooms were fine, not five star but very nice. I can’t comment on the location because we were not allowed out of the hotel. The two courtyards, one with a working well, were a joy to lounge in. I understand that the hotel is I hope, temporary, closed while this virus is with us. I hope this works out well for Dominick and his staff.
I love this hotel it is secluded and quite Dominik the manager went well beyond what was expected and the staff were excellent and friendly and the evening meals were tasty well thought out Dispite the fact that I was caught out with the Peru quarantine the hotel staff made up for the quarantine enforcement
I was disappointed by this hotel. Because it is an old city, the streets were very narrow and one way. On arriving, we had to exit the bus quickly and our luggage was rushed into the hotel so the vehicle could leave as soon as possible. This was simply a matter of location and not critical. Our room was unimpressive and the bathroom sink had cold water only. Not nice when I shave or wash. I saw one roll only of toilet tissue and since travellers diarrhoea is an issue in Peru I was surprised. I managed to get an extra roll from a staff member just in case. However, when our room was cleaned the next morning, it was gone! Is there a one roll only rule at this hotel? I have never seen this in our travels before. The breakfast buffet was unimpressive. We were given a map of the location at the front desk and went on a tour of the city with a guide. We left the guide to have lunch and when we tried to find our way back to the hotel, we had difficulty. The streets on the map did not seem to help us at all. Because there are no overhanging hotel signs, it was awkward finding the hotel when nearby. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The one positive was that the shower pressure was excellent.…
Cannot praise this place enough. We have been quarantined in Cusco and the manager and all his staff have been so helpful. He has taken us in and fed us evening meals even though he doesn’t usually prove them. The rooms are lovely and the food fantastic. The hotel has two beautiful court yards to sit in the sun or shade. The lobby has free tea and the bar is very comfortable. Best hotel in Cusco.
We enjoyed our stay here but breakfast limited for vegetarians The rooms are clean and fresh staff eager to help Clearly the staff tAke pride in maintaining the property which is like an old colonial building
