We stayed with Amaru Colonial for five nights. This hostal was very clean and nice. It's located in San Blas area which is bit of walk from the main square.(5-10 mins) Room was a good size for two people. Staffs were very friendly. Free Coca tea was available. Wifi worked very well. Each room had own heater, so it was...

Stayed here for few nights while in Cusco. The hotel in itself is fine, rooms are of decent size, clean and fairly quiet. Breakfast is okay, no buffet just a fixed menu with choice of eggs, plus usual bread, butter, jam etc. Client service however was not great. When we arrived we had to argue for an hour to get...

Wonderful charm, helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and good location within Cusco. Walked from here to central squares, markets. Great breakfast of juice, yogurt/fruit/quinoa cereal, egg, delicious strong coffee, thermos of hot water to temper strength, and hot milk. This hotel became our home base for our various overnight side trips, as were able to keep our main luggage stored...

Everything was just perfect: rooms, terraces, staff! The only thing is that they serve too little breakfast ;-P But I am sure for an extra cost you can get as much as want! They also have a heating in the rooms ;-) So your stay will be very comfortable. Stay at Amaru!

We enjoyed our stay at this Hostel. Walking to square. Breakfast- typical egg, hard roll jelly coffee, juice. Coca tea. A mini Library of sorts in wait area (locked). Clean cozy rooms. Wifi, TV , accommodate 110 outlets. Laundry service, inexpensive. Stored luggage while we went to Machu Picchu. Very Friendly.

The place is calm and as son as you are in the courtyard you can enjoy a beatifull view of the city roofs. Small hotel with flowers everywhere brings you back to colonial times. In the romos there is a nice combination of wood and stone walls, Central heating works only after the sunset, but it's OK as there are...

We were in room 306 and it had a private balcony over looking the courtyard. Hotel staff were nice and friendly. Close to Cusco's attractions. Breakfast us included with the room and also free WiFi. Nice place to stay when you find yourself in Cusco, Peru.

My two friends and I stayed at the Amaru II Hostal for a few days before embarking on the 4 day Inca Trail trek. First of all, finding rooms for 3 is very tricky, and Amaru had them! Less fortuitously, the airline lost my friend's backpack (which had ALL of her gear for the trek save her boots and the...

Were received late at night after our Inca trail / Machu Picchu experience. Luggage was without problems moved from our previous hotel, Amaru I in Cusco. Nice and clean rooms. A pity we couldn't stay longer! Nice location in 'artistic' area of Cusco but still close to city center and restaurants
