The hotel is very well located in the San Blas neighborhood and quite close to Plaza de Armas. The service is very friendly. They have a small but nice lobby that offers complimentary teas and you can consult guide books. The breakfast is very tasty and healthy with homemade juice. Only watch out, if you're carrying big luggage, the street... More

A wonderful boutique hotel in a beautiful part of Cusco. We had a junior suite. The room was wonderful, views were great and the hot water bottle was a joy!! The staff went out of their way for us. The whole atmoshere was wonderful and friendly. We got great advice on a wonderful place for lunch, help with umbrellas for... More

This quaint boutique hotel is in a great location in the San Blas area. It is at the crest of a hill, so while you adjust to the altitude, it's a tough walk up from the city center (don't worry it get's easier as the days go by). The staff here are incredibly friendly, rooms are clean, and there is... More

Yesss...>Our location is great. However it is not quite at the "crest of the hill"... is almost there!!! You are rigth... altitude is matter of attitude!! as you go by things get easier than they appear. Thank you for giving us the chance to provide a resting place in our home. Best Carlos Owner More

Casa San Blas is a nice and cosy boutique hotel in the old central part of Cusco, ie close to sights, good restaurants, shops etc. The hotel is very charming and is located in a tenovated colonial building. Our rooms on the 1st floor had a nice little terrace area and were in 2 floors, with the bedroom on the... More

Many thanks for your generous comments. Indeed we are proud of the location and also, our achievements with the architecture and service. San Blas, the neighborhood in which we are located, keeps the athmosphere of a 18th century city, full of art activities and workshops. Carlos Milla Owner More

From the chilled fruit-tinged water in the lobby to the hand-painted wall decorations in the themed rooms, we loved the airy atmosphere and warm welcome of this hotel. The staff were friendly and offered good advice and conversation. A bit uphill from the main square but easily walkable to restaurants, historical sites, galleries and shops.

Thank you for your comments: Yes, we decided to focus on the details that may “make the difference”… Our herbs punch is always available, to help rehydrating, our guests (N. 1 clue for altitude). We also believe that traveling is a learning opportunity that is why we choose a theme… The textile art. And from there, we add meditations and... More

We stayed three nights off and on over an eight day span. They even let us store our luggage when we were not staying there. The breakfast was the best around. The staff was so very nice. Book Room #317. Amazing views from the bed and walk out onto the terrace. Great room service dinner as well.

We stayed here two nights in two different rooms. The location of the hotel is pretty ideal, only a 7-8 minute walk to the main square, near some good restaurants, and there are great views of Cusco from the San Blas neighborhood (the downside being the walking up hill if you have mobility issues). The room are all located up... More

I stayed at Casa San Blas twice during my trip. The first time I stayed in Room 211 and the second time I stayed in Room 103. Check-in was quick both times. The first time I arrived at 11am and my room was ready. There is no elevator but the front desk will help with the bags if you are... More

Thank you for your comments. YESSS!... Even tough we have to deal with some noise in a couple of rooms, we try to diminish the discomfort by establishing “silence schedules” after 10.oopm. We are working on changing some of the windows to get a better noise insulation. And of course!! We focus on our staff who love their work. Indeed,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa San Blas is the first Boutique Hotel in Peru since 2003. Our cozy and intimate colonial house located in San Blas mingles the comfort and luxury with the customized service so you feel as home. Our philosophy in Casa San Blas, moreover, is that our guests have a real contact and experience with our traditions and knowledge. Thus, our guests admire elements of Peruvian culture such as traditionally hand-made weavings which are showcased throughout all our rooms and halls. We have also built a terrace balcony on the third floor to allow great views of the city of Cusco both day and night. ... more   less
