Clean room, good bed, nice hot shower, easy going and helpful personnel. Laundry service available. Can organize your trips to e.g. Machu Picchu, Manu NP etc. You can leave your large bagage in case your are on a trip/ trail for several days. Easy walk to city center! Spanish, English AND Dutch speaking!

We expected very amiable staff (travel Guide “Routard”). We were disappointed. They were helping with a bit of insistent. Slightly nonchalant. Don’t expect quiet nights. You can hear what’s going on in the main patio and the trains nearby are loud as well. Overall, it remains an OK option for low budget nights in Cusco

I really like this hostal. It is very home-y. I felt like I had a lot of privacy here and was cared for here. Simple yet sufficient accommodations. Yes, truth be told, it lacked some luxurious things but for the price, can't be picky. I had a great experience.

Cusi Wasi was just what I hoped for: mid-range for price, high on character, good service, great location. Wouldn't call it luxury as the rooms were small and fairly basic, but the pictures you see don't do justice to the charming of the lush atrium that was a pleasure to relax in. The weather was a bit cold in June... More

Give this hotel a skip--the rooms are tiny, terribly maintained, and dirty (hairs on the bed and floor, mold, stains). Quite cold with no working heaters in the winter. If you're a backpacker on a budget, this may work for you, but for everybody else look elsewhere. (The rooms are all around the central courtyard and you can hear any... More

Unfortunately various things went wrong during during the stay of these guests. 1. There was an error in the housekeeping registry so that the room wasn't cleaned before it was assigned. The mistake was immediately resolved when the guest made his complaint. We took measures so that this mistake won't happen again. 2. There were indeed traces of mould present... More

I stayed here twice during my trip to Machu Picchu and for the price, it is hard to complain too much. However, I did find some of the staff to be extremely unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Most of the staff seemed annoyed when you arrived the hotel and they needed to unlock the front door. No big problem... More

Only slightly up the hill but exhausting enough to get to...if you can push through you won't be disappointed. The hostel looks like an old colonial house with various floors and windowed rooms all looking inwards to the courtyard which is covered in bespoke furniture and plant life. Our room size was fine and the shower had decent power. Breakfast... More

Super nice place to stay. Excellent rooms, clean & pretty. Excellent attention from all personnel. Great location, a 10 minute walk to downtown, Plaza de Armas. We loved the fact that they picked up from the train station on time! Will surely recommend!

Didn't know what to expect - new country & new hotel But it was a great experience to do Machu Picchu and stay in Cusco at Hostal Cusi Wasi. Even tho they spoke very little English they picked us up at the airport in Cusco with a sign with our name on it and they were very hospitable and helpful... More
