When I red the good comments on "TripAdvisor" and "Hostelworld.com" and saw the score of 9.2/10, I book right away. The room was at a realy good price, but after my stay I realised why. The bathrooms were not very clean, the showers gave no cold water or no water at all, there is no curfew so we weren't able to sleep at night because of the loud music playing in the entire hostel. The room we had was not soundproof at all. Also there is a window on top of our bed that let the sunlight pass at 7:00 AM so we've never been able to sleep correctly. At least the staff was nice and it is why I give 2 stars.

Where to start? Oh yeah, don't expect to go to sleep early the walls are so thin you ear people walking as if they were in your room until what? 2-3 AM... We had to wake up at 3h30 for a day trip, guess we did not sleep at all. On the internet they said it was'nt a party place and this is why we choose it... disappointed. And don't expect to have a good shower, whether the water is freakin hot with no cold or it is freakin cold because the hot water doesn't work... In need of staff, we had to wait many times for different things. On the otherside, the place is cute and cheap. I do not recommand this place, you have better place at the same price!

We are oldeFindbring velers and this was a FUN place to stay! Lots of young travelers made for high interest and energy. Clean rooms, showers and bathrooms (shared). Private rooms at the back are more quiet. Beautiful open and partially covered stone courtyard. Nice light and air flow. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice location. No doubt this is a backpackers' hotel but the experience was worthwhile. Bring your own towel. Laundry services abound. Bonus: best coffee in Peru at Argentine coffee shop, left out of the hostel.

From the moment we walked in, I fell in love with the hostel. It's housed in a nice colonial house. Staff are friendly and helpful, they clean the hostel regularly, great breakfast and nice little bar. The common area is ample and cozy. We felt safe.

Amazing hostel! I ended up extending my stay here! I did the Inca Trail in the middle, and they stored my luggage for free for 4 days -- which was an absolute relief to know I didn't have to worry about my stuff while I was away. This is a social hostel, and they organized dinners and events at the bar. Super easy to meet people at breakfast or at dinner. Volunteers are the absolute best and so helpful with tips about hikes, treks and discovering Cusco. Location is great, a 5min walk from the main square, but in a quiet area which is super nice when you want to get a good nights rest before your treks! Everyone also was there to do treks and hang out, so that I never had a problem going to bed early and being woken up. The courtyard area is super chill as well. I am a little sad that I missed out on the bonfire! It gets cold at night, and the rooms were warm and equipped with warm comforters! Not to mention... hot showers!!!! Desk is staffed 24/7 so its easy to check out during the middle of the night before your trek. Also front door is locked at 10pm so you need to be buzzed in after, which I loved.
