This hotel has several good restaurants very close and one a across the street. It's an easy walk to the main plaza - walk out the door and go straight. My room was clean and quiet and I had a nice view.
We came to do the 4-day hike on the Inca Trail, and this hotel was the perfect place to stay, both before and after our trek! The staff is excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful. A huge thank you to everyone who works there! We had breakfast each day in the restaurant and couldn't have asked for a more complete selection of delicious, fresh food. Dinner was equally delicious! The staff was also very accommodating in helping store our extra bags when we were out on the trail, and again on our last day when we had to wait for an evening flight. The location is perfect for exploring Cusco, easy walking distance to countless restaurants, shops, and attractions. The rooms were quiet, the showers were hot, and the beds exceptionally comfortable-- exactly what we needed after our trek! We will definitely stay here when we return to Cusco in the future!!…
The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast that was included was delicious. We were tired our last night and ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was one of the best meals of the trip. Wish we had tried it earlier.
We were forced to stay here by the Peruvian government - still made to pay 60 USD - meals were lukewarm, hair in them, poor standard, tasted like gruel. Rooms were nice but not worth the cost. Hotel bumped up alcohol prices as they knew we had no other options. Would ignore our calls and patronise us when we asked for other snacks. Only gave us 2 small bottles of water a day (not enough to survive each day). In our opinion they used our precarious situation to capitalise on us!!!!! Do not recommend
Stayed here for a couple of nights during a tour of Peru. Very nice stay, lovely clean and comfortable room, attentive professional staff and great food in the restaurant. Woke up to sunrise each morning which felt fabulous. Nice views over Cusco over a very busy street with alot of traffic. Well located for shops and restaurants. After a tiring day, had dinner in the restaurant. Attentive charming waiter lit the large fire in the middle of the room for us. We decided to eat Peruvian food which was cooked to perfection. A selection of various different cubed meats on skewers, meat was succulent and tender - fabulous. (see phot) We enjoyed our stay here, very comfortable hotel with friendly staff.
