We stayed here for two nights total in November 2016 (separated by one night away while we visited Macchu Pichhu. I loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. What I was most impressed with is that we were a group of 8, arrived in Cusco at 6 a.m. and at the hotel by 7:15 a.m. or so....

We loved both our stays at El Mercado. It is very short walk to the Plaza de Armes, a couple of blocks, which puts it in the center of many historical points of interest. From the front desk, to the bell hops to the wait staff, all the people we met were willing to go above and beyond whenever we...

I stayed for a very short time. However, the time that I was there was VERY comfortable. The patio is very cute and my friend and I had dinner by the fire pit with blankets. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco. Location was great (close...

We stayed here before and after doing the Salkantay trek. We had a triple room which was very comfortable. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax during the day with a brazier at night. Breakfast was excellent. We ate at the restaurant one evening and it was good (but not great).Staff were very helpful and let us leave...

As part of the Mountain Lodges of Peru chain, we stayed here because we were hiking the Santa Teresa trek (Salkantay trek). The hotel is close to the main Plaza de Armas. The front desk staff is very helpful. Our bags were held for us while doing the trek without additional charge. The rooms are cozy with all the necessary...

It does not look very appealing from the outside, but El Mercado is a lovely, cosy boutique place inside. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. Our first room (106) was modern and homely, with shower and sink (no separate bathroom). Nice and warm, very comfortable bed wit doonah, safe and free WiFi – though very small, which...

Wonderful hotel in historic center close to all the sights, although a little tricky to find at first. We were delighted by the excellent service all around, and well appointed rooms. Delicious buffet breakfast with eggs, crepes, and fruit juice blends made to order. And a cozy open courtyard in the center with a fire pit and blankets for cold...

This is a decent hotel in the heart of Cusco. The location is perfect as you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. We have only stayed here for one night before departing to our next destination. Only downside was the rooms are very small with hardly any windows. Breakfast was good with good selection of food.

Great hotel - fantastic shower, fluffy towels and very comfy bed. Heating was lovely, as the nights cool down, but too hot at times. Breakfast buffet had options to suit all tastes and fresh crepes were good along with fresh juices and fruit. Definitely will be a place to re-visit if back in Cusco 👍

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while touring Cusco. It's located just a couple of blocks from the main square and a few blocks more to San Blas. The hotel is clean and well kept. There is a nice central courtyard with beautiful, fresh flowers. The breakfast room has a wide assortment of fruits and other delights....
