This hostel is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It is labeled a two star hostel; but trust you me, it is a five star service location. The owner treats you like family and is at your service 24 hours a day. She guides you to the best authentic eateries in town. On top of it all, it is extremely affordable. You can’t beat it.

I want to discuss the accomodation at the Yawarmaki hostel. it is THE BEST, homey atmosphere, spacious rooms, clean 100%. Located near restaurants, د plaza, shopping, safe to walk. Raquel is amazing, gives you a Map with all the information needed to survive. She is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The price less then 200 dollars for 5 days, breakfast and WIFI free. Highly recommended.

Yawarmaki is a familiar hostel, owned and managed for Raquel and her sister. From the very first time we arrived (at 4am), to the time we left, we felt like home. Raquel does everything to please us and make us comfortable, from good recommendations about the city of Cusco, to a delicious multifruit juice in the breakfast. Our room was private, very comfortable, quiet and with a very hot water in the shower. The location is also good, 5-10 minutes from Plaza de Armas (main square), but in a very tight street, which makes catch some ''traffic'' with other pedestrians. This would be enough to guarantee a 5, but Raquel's spirit would make me give a 6 or 7 if possible.

Lovely spacious, clean and comfortable room with a warm shower. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. WiFi excellent, and location amazing; a 5-10m walk to the main Plaza. Raquel and her brother were so hospitable, and let us leave our bags at the property while we went to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!

We were there for 3 nights during august 2018. Rachel is incredibly nice and welcoming. Very helpful if you need anything. Familial hostel, a bit surprising when you walk in for the first time, because you arrive right in the middle of the living room. But you should absolutly give it a try because Rachel and her hostel are amazing ! Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Hot water all day (but do warn Rachel during the night if you need to take a shower). Beds in the twin room were really confortable (best one we had during our whole trip). Very good breakfast ! Located in a small alley 5-10 min away from the plaza de armas. No safety problem even by night.
