Stayed 2 nights at Hotel Mirador Los Apus with a night between in Machu Picchu. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was huge and comfy. Breakfast was tasty and included continental foods plus made to order eggs. Location was about a 5 min walk from main square and in a quiet yet comfortable neighborhood. They were nice enough to hold our bags between our nights and also as we toured around Cusco. Would definitely stay here again.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the quality of service Antoine Hamel and staff offered my wife and I during the days of my stay at the Los Apus Hotel . Despite the many offers I received from other hotels, I decided for you because of the unbeatable deal you offered me. It was a good decision; I enjoyed the peace and quiet I needed in a style representing the Cuzco tradition offered in all the facilities of your hotel. This definitely added to the excellent service of the staff, allowed me to focus on the relaxation and freedom to roam the city and surrounding areas with guidance of the staff. I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family, and I’m sure I’ll be back on vacation. I hope to get the same quality of service as we have received during our v8sit to Cuzco. During my visit to Cuzco I was able to learn a few words in Quechua. "Kusi" meaning happiness and "wasi" meaning home/house. Apus Hotel was a true Kusi wasi...house of happiness. Excellente staff! Very kind and attentive every moment of our stay. Francisco handles the breakfast and tried to make the best out of it. Antonio, the general manager was always looking out for us and trying to give us tips in everything. Rocio at the front desk was very kind and courteous. Overall an excellent experience as always in Cuzco.

We stayed nearly a week in Cusco and enjoyed the hotels great value and location (would not have breakfast there though). We give it 5* for the excellent hotel service - we missed our peruhop tour bus and the staff at reception helped find a taxi willing to drive us through the night for 11 hours to catch up with the bus! Superb.

Very clean hotel, large rooms, very very courteous people. It is located in the center of cuzco, 500 meters from the main square in the historic district of cuzco. The breakfast is excellent, the prices are absolutely fair. RECOMMENDED

All of the ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and accomodating. We were able to enjoy complimentary breakfast (eggs cooked to order) on the terrace every morning of our stay and also had access to coca tea almost 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, I had to evacuate the Salkantay trek on the second day due to altitude sickness and the hotel was kind enough to offer us the same room we had stayed in earlier that week. They also gave me oxygen and most importantly were very kind and caring during a difficult time for me. There is no elevator but hotel workers helped us with our bags. Our room was cute and clean. Location was great to walk to many points of interest in Cusco. Would definitely recommend to any traveler who is on a budget but has discriminating taste.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights and returned after our trip to Machu Picchu. The staff were very accommodating as we kept most of our luggage there while we went away. The location is great, the staff is excellent, the breakfasts have variety and are filling, and there is a laundry service about 2 minutes away. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the road as it can get a bit noisy at times. For the price, this place is a great find.
