This place was great, centrally located, friendly staff, great service, delicious breakfast. Very cool to stay in a converted mansion, felt very fancy. You can walk easily to a lot of neat places to eat and tourist at.

I won't repeat the complements that other reviewers already mentioned. But a special shout out to the staff who raided the kitchen at 10:45 pm to find us some bread and cheese because it was so late and we were so tired and hungry after the close to 5 hours train and bus ride back from Machu Picchu. One tip... More

We stayed here for four nights as part of our SAS Machu Picchu tour. The hotel is a very nice three star. Yes, I would stay here again. Here are the specifics: The hotel is located in the downtown historic district about 20 from the airport. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants of all food types within a one... More

We got to stay at the Marqueses as part of our Travel package with SAS Travel (office literally next door). We were extremely pleased with our stay. BEAUTIFUL architecture & decor. Worth the price. Staff was very nice and understanding as well. The lady who served breakfast in the mornings was the nicest & very polite. We loved our stay.... More

This was a very convenient location in Cusco. It was wedged between the Plaza de Armas and I think Plaza de Francisco? Be sure you give your taxi driver the correct street. The directions I printed said, "Avenida Garcilaso 256." It is actually "Calle Garcilaso 256." The hotel is actually quite old and that adds to the ambiance Breakfast is... More

The hotel was very accommodating, I went with three friends and they had one big room for all of us. When we arrived the wifi was not working, so the staff installed another router which reached our room. Breakfast was included and the location was amazing.

We stayed here when we first arrived in Cusco. They were there at the airport to pick us up as we were collecting our bags. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was one of the best we had on the whole trip. The location couldn't be better, just a few blocks from the plaza de Armes and another square... More

Loved the historic building. Did not have problems with noise as others have mentioned, but I could hear our kids next door, which might have been more awkward if it was someone we didn't know. Love the location near the central squares. Enjoyed the cofffee shop across the street and had a delicious dinner at El Emperador around the corner.... More

Beautifully restored colonial building. Comfy bed. The space heater kept the room warm. My main problems was there is only WiFi in the open air courtyard. I had come down with the flu, so having to carry my laptop downstairs, then over to the patio with no roof covering. It got cold out there. The other patio has a greenhouse-glass... More

The hotel is a beautiful Colonial building restored as a hotel. They have an open courtyard with fountain and the red brick building looks gorgeous. Since it is an old building, it is missing the modern amenities like a room thermostat. They only have a radiator heater - which is pretty ineffective with the high ceilings. The bathroom is decent... More
